I bet Posh doesn't regret not touring with them. The show in Ireland was a bust.
Based on the DM article she didn’t trash her band mates. She expressed frustration with their sound engineers/equipment at their debut gig, which fans had been griping about. The other three ignored the fan gripes.
It was bad enough the first time around. Oasis, Radiohead, Suede (known as London Suede in the US), Pulp, Muse, Blur, Manic Street Preachers, Prodigy et al., were the British bands of the '90s. Not the fecking Spice Girls. They made me weep for *actual* female bands like Elastica et al.
Spicegirls were the 90s Brit band for normies.
Mel is at the point where her big mouth is irritating people even when she might have a valid point. She needs to chill out and handle issues directly, rather than publicly bc it sounds like everyone in the tour has the, "there she goes again" trigger. She is desperate for this to happen and be successful, but the stress, mixed with God only knows what substances, is making her spin out.
Mel uses a vacuum contraption to get the coke up her nose faster
Jeez bring back Portoisehead instead please
How are they considered a band?
"They made me weep for *actual* female bands like Elastica et al."
Still a pop band. And they were at the time fantastic. Don't hate on pop.
Also, Elastica was not all female.
They were always s*** compared to All Saints.
