There rumors a couple of years ago that this former B+ list singer who has changed her stage name several times was sleeping with her married manager. Judging by last night, I don't know about that, but she definitely has something going on with one of his family members who is also married.

ReplyDeleteOnly other person I can think of is Tinashe but she doesn't really fit. Katy Perry changed her name but she's A list and engaged. Kesha doesn't really work as she only changed the $ part of her name really.
Lily Allen is a good guess too, but doesn't Enty normally denote if they're foreign born?

Lana Del Rey is at least her third stage name, according to a half-assed Google search I performed. She's also performed/recorded under Lizzie Grant (her real name) and May Jailer. So it might be her.

ReplyDeleteI don't always follow the grammar on this site but my interpretation of former B+ list singer is someone who was that high in the past but is no longer. This rules out most guesses here - LDR for example - as she still has a good career rather than being a former star or someone whose star has fallen significantly. JLo, Aguilera, etc are all formerly higher than B+ list. Lily Allen has only had one name change and is foreign born.
ReplyDeleteSo a lesser known American (probably) female singer who has changed her name several times, is still performing, and was B+ in the past but is not considered to be so now.
Can't really think of or find anyone straight off. Thought of Marina Diamandis but I think she's Welsh. She has switched her stage name a couple of times and had a few years out and is probably closer to B+ than other guesses though so maybe the 'foreign-born' bit was just omitted. Probably someone else though.
