Or Mel Gibson
Mel Gibson and Shia Labeouf
And Chris Pratt?
Mel Gibson for sure. He got cast in some Christmas movie.
I saw The Intruder last week and I highly recommend it!
Or Shia?
Maybe Marky Mark instead of Shia? Daddy's Home.
mel gibson, santa claus movie
mel gibson and shia, "rothchild" movie
@T.W. The trailer for The Intruder looks really good and creepy!
Mel Gibson for sure just got cast as Santa in a new Xmas movie
Just saw the news about the Rothschild movie with Mel and Shia. Both movies will probably be so bad they’ll be worth watching lol
The Intruder has already released and will probably be a bigger hit than Long Shot starring Charlize Theron. At any rate it will be massively profitable coz it cost 5-8 million to film and already recovered its cost and then some in its first weekend!
Looks like the Producers was a documentary not a comedy.
Anyways, anything Enty says about movie business has to be taken with a grian of salt coz he spent months trying to convince us that A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody will be the biggest flops in the history of hollywood and yet.......
This is horseshit!! Give me a break! We're talking about millions of dollars and studio/executive reputations here and we're supposed to believe these two 'studio executives' make a bet like this?? No way. Let me guess- it was a bet for $1 as they usually do in cases like this. If you just want to hate on Mel and Shia go for it (they deserve it) but you don't need to make up a blind like this or pass on a weak rumor about this. I wonder if the real bet was whether or not someone could get such a ridiculous rumor on CDAN.
Wasn't there a similar story about Steven Segal? The bet being one executive claiming he could take a total nobody and make him (Segal) an international star? Just like the plot of Trading Places - lol
This is obvious bullshit as studio execs get their heads delivered to them when the movie doesn't perform.
The fact that ppl here are guessing to this fake blind is absolutely hilarious
The story about Steven Seagal is that he was Michael Ovitz (the head of CAA)'s trainer, and that Ovitz made a bet that he could turn him into a star, which resulted in Above the Law. The story started 30 years ago, and there are some elements that ring true, given how much Ovitz loved coke then. Besides, they did their best for his early films to be hits.
Enty's blind makes zero sense. Two executives compete for producing the worst flop possible, and they brag about it, just days after the projects are announced? The projects would end up being cancelled and the executives fired.
Yes like having Mel Gibson in anything Christmas or Christian related is such a recipe for disaster? Like Christians would totally avoid his movies right? Lethal Weapon was a Christmas movie, Passion of the Christ, etc.
If they had a bet, why didn't they just cast R. Kelly in a remake of Annie?
@Sook -That was the story. Exec was Mike Ovitz taking Seagal, an unknown at the time and making him a star. Forgot who the Studio head he bet with.
mel gibson cast as santa
the professor and the madman....mel gibson and sean penn?
My favorite part of this is “hold my beer”. More like, hold my peyote and this tiny purple rabbit in my pocket.
I saw Mel Gibson cast as Santa - definitely 100%.
He punched a woman while she was holding a baby, Brayson. The bloke is a cunt.
@VikinSong, Well he claims he slapped her

I hear that kind of sh!t is pretty typical in Australia. My friends in the Navy told me that Australian women would be waiting on the pier to buy the sailors drinks. They were just grateful to be with men who didn't treat them like crap for a change.
Flying tiger-- i thought the same thing!😁
"I'll bury you in the rose garden"
Mel Gibson to his baby mama
Lol @flyingtiger. Really funny.
Oy vey! Wadda dey tink up next?
Whilst you are all slagging off Mel Gibson ( rightly or wrongly I can't say, but I'm in the rightly camp, I had the recent good fortune to see both 'Dragged across concrete' and 'The professor and the madman' in the same week.
It made me realise that although his Scottish accent has not improved these performances prove that as movie-goers, his personal behaviour has probably robbed us of some excellent performance parts he might have been up for.
These films I found excellent. That is all.
So much bullshit here...studio executives's careers hang on a thread, year by year...and they live or die based on hits or misfires. I promise there are no two studio executives that are so cavalier about their careers that they intentionally try to make a bad movie. Again, it is ridiculous posts like this that make me question how much of this is true.
I always trust Mel Gibson's movies. He might be a scumbag, but he's the kind of scumbag who makes a good film & seeing as we're apparently stuck with the same old scumlords I'm at least siding with the one that doesn't add in unnecessary explosions & touch kids.
@Dav you have to take the site with several pinches of salt. It's old Hollywood gossip mixed with "hey guess which Daily Mail article I am barely making the effort to reference here?"
It's not clever, It's not funny some times but as a site that attracts visitors for google ads? It's lucrative.
The bottom of several barrels have been scraped though and that's why it is regurgitated from the UK Daily Mail website. Enty thought he could get away with that for a while. No.
Ugh, if Russle Crowe and Mel Gibson were in a movie together that would be migraine inducing.
racist woman beater = Mel Gibson
Daddys Home 2 = Christmas movie
Dragged Across Concrete was like a movie from the 1970s
Q: Are they betting for the princely sum of $1. And if so, when does Eddie Murphy show up and ruin their fun?
Mel Gibson and Robert Downey, Jr.?
