A few years ago at the height of the furor between an A- list mostly movie actress and her permanent A list actor significant other, there came a gruesome tale which seemingly got lost in all of the other noise the two people were making about their situation. It involved a third party. Another actor who is A/A- list and is an Oscar winner/nominee. Both that actor and our actress wanted it shoved to the side as quickly as possible and the permanent A list actor wanted to make a lot of noise about some things, but not so much the gruesome incident because it showed him in a bad light.
Because no one wanted to mention it again, people stopped talking about it. I get why the permanent A lister didn't want to discuss it any longer, but what about the other two.
