Chris Tucker must be extremely pissed if this falls through, he hasn't worked in years. And most of what he did then was Rush Hours.
ReplyDeleteI lost a lot of respect for Chris Tucker after I watched his last special. He defended MJ and called his accusers liars. I hope he feels stupid after Leaving Neverland came out.

ReplyDelete@Brayson, I know! I used to watch Jet's HK movies in Cantonese! If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend watching "Hero" by Zhang Yimou.
ReplyDeleteNot to defend whom appears to be a real POS, but I wonder... Is Jackie such an asshole because of alcohol and/or drug addiction? Remember, he was famous for doing ALL of his own stunts. He did a lot of movies and many of those stunts were pretty radical and the injury count on that dude must be astronomical. Again, not making excuses, but I could see why he is an old asshole of a man with a lot of issues.

ReplyDelete@Sook, My uncle once explained to me that Jackie is one of those old school Chinese men (dinosaurs) who think it's okay to beat your kids and have tons of mistresses because he's a man. I think Jackie views women as property. Obviously, this is not marketable which is why Jackie has to put on an "aw shucks" facade to the public.
