This disgraced news anchor is thisclose to returning to your television set and probably on his old network.
Matt Lauer
This disgraced news anchor is thisclose to returning to your television set and probably on his old network.
Matt Lauer
That would be amusing.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see the set for that. Matt over here, allllll the women like- 15 feet away. They'll have to spring for an extra wide lens.
ReplyDeletenbc is a lot of things but i dont think theyre stupid enough to hire him back.
ReplyDeletehis actions are un excusable. i dont see any network hiring him.
Anything is possible. Brian Williams lost all his credibility as a newsman yet there he is on a lower ranked network reporting the news. They could put Lauer on a lower position like weekend Today anchor that no one watches.

ReplyDelete+1
let's hope so.
he's a slug.
and i would lose any respect i had left for NBC. can you imagine the out cry from the #MeToo movement? if they were stupid enough to do that (or any news outlet), he wouldn't be there long. unless, of course, it's FoxNews. they let every shit stain in America work on their network.
@Sandy
ReplyDeletebut Brian Williams lied about being somewhere he wasn't. Matt Lauer sexually harassed multiple women. i think that's a big difference.
Sure that's true, but O Reilly is inching his way back and he was pretty bad too. Just never say never with these people and making money.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget what Lauer was doing there wasn't a secret at NBC, and we on the gossip sites knew it too. He didn't get fired until it wasn't a secret everywhere else and they had no choice.
ReplyDeleteMatt was quite chummy with execs, I could see them letting him test the waters. Probably anything as warm as indifference will get him back into some "special features" type of role.
ReplyDeleteMatt locked his office door and raped women suborniates. NBC execs knew & did nothing. Screw them all.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm thinking glass-walled office? No blinds?
Deleteugh.
ReplyDeleteLose all respect for NBC?
ReplyDeletePUH LEEAZE
Nobody should respect major cable & TV networks, wtf - do you ever turn one on?? Fuckery overload.
Yeah they'll have him back all right, on To Catch a Predator.
ReplyDeleteLMAO @ Brayson!
ReplyDeleteactually, hunter, i rarely watch the news anymore. even locally. i do read news sites (USA Today, CNN & one of our local channels) but that's about it.
i don't even really watch it for the weather anymore. one day it was 80 here in the Denver area, and the next day we had a blizzard (just a week or so ago). i just look outside and decide what i'm wearing and take a jacket in case it gets cooler.
+1 Thursday November. Matt didn't install that button by himself.
ReplyDeleteHe's not gonna be showing on my TV
ReplyDeleteGator-- + millions, hopefully!
ReplyDeleteEww 🤢
ReplyDeleteget the door lock button ready Matt will be back!
ReplyDeleteI don't believe this. No way. It would set a bad standard for #MeToo.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I'd watch Matt Lauer do on tv is him being tied up while all the women he abused threw dog shit at him.
ReplyDeleteHe's moving to CNN.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many people who want to be on tv. They can't find anyone else to replace him? Sounds like the good old boys club.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this blind came from NBC to test the waters.
ReplyDeleteHonestly even if we didn't find out about Matt, he has been on daily TV for too long and I was tired of him 10 years ago. He is as pesky as a youngster always posting selfies - just go away, NO ONE is interested in seeing him on TV again.
I read that he was talking to Zucker at CNN about doing something there.
