Blind Items Revealed #1

April 3, 2019

Even if the alliterate talk show host gets everything together in the next couple of weeks, the show may be finished anyway because a new show is going to be tested this summer with a eye towards replacing the alliterate one.

Wendy Williams/RuPaul

  1. Hmmmm only if Miz Ru is doing the show in drag everyday. I can't see him knocking WW of her throne with him doing a daily talk show dressed as a man.
    #snoozefest

  2. Exchanging one drag queen for another? That's very PC and hip.

  3. I really think she might let this show get cancelled to get rid of show connection to kev? Dont know if that's too stupid/risky.

  4. I'm really surprised that RuPaul wants to do a daily talk show.

It's a lot of work, and he already has more money than he'll ever need.

Plus he's married, and his husband is not in show biz. He's Australian and they have a ranch in Wyoming. Why not just sit back and enjoy the mountains? He's 58 years old.

Unless that marriage is going as well as Ellen and Portia's relationship and Ru needs something to distract him and fill his time.

  5. Drag Race UK is coming, a friend has left his job to come home ( he has an almost guaranteed spot on it, providing he resides back in the UK ) , so although it's only a few weeks, how is that going to work?

  6. As long as Rupaul goes back to his roots and gives up this fake, scripted shit that he's doing now on Drag Race. That show has gone from fun and outrageous to incredibly scripted, fake, and BORING. Oh god---and those musical numbers?!! Its unwatchable and most of my friends agree. We haven't went out to gather and watch it at a bar in like 2 years now, which is sad.
He's tried this before and it still wasn't the right "time" for it. I really really hope it becomes what it COULD!! Most anything would be better than that Wendy Williams trash though.

  7. @TellMeLies, I agree with you about the recent seasons of Drag Race.

The recent Monster's Ball episode was the worst; every joke was hopelessly corny. It was like they'd called in Milton Berle's old gag writers.

The Season 11 queens are also snooze-worthy, with the possible exception of Scarlett Envy, who has already gone home.

Trinity was amazing in AllStars, though, particularly the final dress with the teacups.

  8. I don't like this New Agey RuPaul. I like the bitchy one from his Vh-1 days. He used to slay them.

  9. @Vita
You might be right. She filed for divorce today.

  10. I disagree! Yvie is sublime. Thoroughly enjoying season 11.

  11. RuPaul has the advantage of charm.

  12. It’s laughable that male network executives think RuPaul could substitute for Wendy.

  13. Bitch please, Ru could TOTALLY substitute for Wendy.

  14. Hunter,...I agree, hahaha those could have been Ru's words...

  15. The show is geared toward dumbed, and beaten-down females, so dreadful RuPaul will make an excellent host. He's so acceptable, now.

  16. Ru's relationship isn't in trouble. He's made no secret that the reason for its success is that they don't live together all the time and each do their own thing.

And I agree about the boring, current Ru. I listen to his podcast and it's definitely has a lot more Oprah Lite moments now than it ever used to. I guess I can't blame him, he's been doing the drag thing forever and he's pushing 60, who wouldn't want to transition their career into a different direction by now? But boooooring.
