My husband used to be a wrestler and he trained with John Cena in a not-so-little promotion that did serve and still serves as a WWE development camp to this day.

That’s what I was thinking. He’s already been a super hero for a while now. So it’s someone new. Who is the new Shazam? If the movie does well for DC they will make sequels of it. I do not like to see Jake Gyllenhaal as Batman. And I do not like to see Richard Madden as Bond. Neither one is the right fit.
Jake Gyllenhaal? Playing Mysterio in the new Spider-Man movie. Not exactly a superhero, and I'm not sure it would be a recurring role in later movies.... but there have been rumors about him.
How about, since we saw Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises finding the entrance to the BatCave, perhaps he is getting ready to be ROBIN - superhero and sidekick?
Or is Joaquin Phoenix a 'mo? Although The Joker is not a superhero...
Kellikopter - completely gay and not bi-curious 1 beer and 2 nudges away? Cause WOW. He might wanna stay in the wrasslin' world where they seem to be able to keep secrets.
I like John Cena a lot and if he's gay I like him even more, good for him, he seems positive and all American and I"m here for it.

He's the favourite to be the new Captain America (ie big superhero role). This has something to do with Endgame/contracts ending/Contracts being renewed.

Well if anyone wants to make the cartoon "The might Hercules" (and his friend Newt) as a live action movie (which would be camp and hilarious), the could cast from this blind! Obs I'm a big Kids in the Hall fan. I love Buddy's monologues.
