On the plus side,his Twitter rants prove he still has some fight in him. Whether his family or friends intervene remains to be seen. In the business he barely functions,they think he is worth more dead than alive.
The problem is he's alienated just about everyone who has ever cared about him.
I used to follow a couple of his stans on social media, but even they've lost hope now.
He's an intelligent guy with an interest in art. The best thing for him would be to drop out of the music business and go to art school, or to university and study art history or literature.
Show business is not for him - he doesn't have the stomach for it, or the ironclad ego of Harry Styles.

If the rumours about him getting that fellow boybanders sister hooked which lead to her early death are true, forget about a lucrative reunion as well. Meanwhile the Jonas Bros are killing it right now. Whatever enty says, both bearding arrangements are working a charm in both raising profiles and making money. Well played Hollywood p.r. people!
Haven't read the Twitter rant to know what's setting him off, but Zayn fits. He got what he wanted/needed leaving 1D years ago, but hasnt seemed to use that choice constructively. The only thing that's kept him in the spotlight is him. He needs to give himself the gift of checking into a long term, quality clinic, and just completely rebooting. Purge all that needs to be purged there, come out clean, with hopefully only himself and his talents. In relative terms, he's still a baby, and can get a new beginning of any sort he wants.
Simple have a medical professional commit him. Otherwise if he won't seek help then just wait for him to dodge the morgue and wind up in the hospital or jail instead. It was sad when Robin Williams offed himself, won't shed a tear if this 15min of fame boytoy twink does it.

It's really too bad, he is definitely of the artistic temperament. I remember watching a documentary about 1D (still have it lol) and he says he has a room dedicated to just being alone doing art. Bipolar will fuck you up and drugs will certainly not help.
