ReplyDelete+1 she lost her tooth eating a bagel! ummmm... ok
ReplyDeleteBagels can be rough. 🥯
ReplyDeleteNot my NY/NJ bagels @tricia!! Won’t even look at a hard ass bagel.
ReplyDelete@MD... true that.
ReplyDeleteI am missing them. Everything bagel toasted with a lil Irish ☘️ butter
@Jennifer
ReplyDeletebackatcha!
Thanks Jennifer! And Happy Easter weekend for those who wont be checking in!🐰🐣🌷
ReplyDeleteWhy DOES Irish butter taste better?
Didn't realize Shay was a big drug user. So, do they leech calcium or why are drugs so hard on teeth?
@vita it’s the snorting and the dry mouth that leads to gum disease and then the teeth start to rot. Meth rots all the teeth from the grinding. A woman that age losing a tooth is really suspect to me.
ReplyDelete@Vita,Jennifer and All-Happy Easter 🐣 back!!
ReplyDeleteRe: butter... I rarely use it only on hot bread-but yes that Irish ☘️ Brand and their butter in general is made/ churned from really good stuff..also only naturally lightly salted.
Eh sometimes bad teeth are genetic. That tooth was already on it's way out if a bagel got it. Then again that could just be a cover story what really happened to it.
ReplyDeleteI prefer my bagels untoasted.
*Kerry gold it’s called
ReplyDeleteNY bagels are the best because of the water..... nothing like them. There's even a place in Miami that brings down water from NY to make their bagels. We have nothing that resembles a good bagel down here in Dallas.
ReplyDeleteAnd Tricia yes, I just discovered Irish Butter and it is so good. Not going back to regular.
Irish butter has a high fat content. Daughter of a dairy farmer here.
ReplyDelete@Hky Mom-yes 💯 %the water. A family friend from
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn opened a pizzeria in Beverly Hills years ago (Mulberry Pizza) and used to fly the water in... same for bagels(what was name of place in Miami I lived there..was it Brooklyn Water Bagel?!)
@Me Again... so worth it tho
Kerrygold butter is cultured butter unlike American "sweet cream" butter. That's why it tastes better. I make my own cultured butter using heritage buttermilk and raw milk. Me Again is also correct that the butterfat is higher which is why I use raw milk from a local supplier. Commercial milk has had most of it's butterfat removed. My raw milk is safe they test and are a licensed commercial dairy.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay Gwenyth, you can post under your real name here, we're happy to have you.
ReplyDeletelol!!
Hunter-- LOL, that was hilarious, but there is a difference!😂
ReplyDeleteMeagain and Ann-- feel free to provide samples to the class!😁
Tricia-- i could be wrong, but doesn't Larry King have a hand in Brooklyn Water Bagels? Or maybe bringing the franchise to Bev Hills/LA? I thought I saw him on some show swearing by the enhanced flavor created by the water that's traveled through copper pipes. Mulberry Street has been around along time! I remember Cathy Moriarty on Entertainment Tonight talking about it ages ago.
Now, ask me when my car insurance is due or if I'm sure I shut the garage, and Im sunk.
Thanks for the info, MD!
ReplyDeleteBrayson-- Good point, the ol' bagel as scapegoat technique. 😉
@Vita, oh I just realized that she probably had a crown pop off or something, that would explain the bagels and the quick fix at the dentist. She is 32 after all, probably has some dental work done.
ReplyDeleteWow. Have I learned something here!
ReplyDeleteI was raised in NYC and OMG, the Jewish delis and bagels... Bagels and lox and cream cheese is to DIE for.
ReplyDeleteIsn't all butter high fat? Also Shay has an eating disorder so yeah. No surprise about drug use.
ReplyDelete@Vita ... yes. Cathy was a partner. Great place ... LA ers are it up lol... all about the dough.
ReplyDeleteKerry Gold and Dairy Gold butter is the nicest Irish butter!
