Today's Blind Items - Confession

While making a documentary about famous musicians of the 20th century, producers interviewed a man who was very close to this permanent A+ list musician. They just wanted background on the life of the musician, but ended up getting told that the A+ list musician was murdered and he knew who did it. The musician's death has always been considered accidental, but apparently this man has some evidence to suggest otherwise and now the producers have switched to an entirely different documentary.

    1. Or Richie Balens maybe? Same plane I think.

      Delete
    2. I don't think it's Valens or Holly if the person only referred to knowing who the murderer of one person is, imho. More likely Prince.

      Delete
  2. Jim Morrison? There's been a fartload of Doors documentaries, but maybe there was another one.

  3. Could be Elvis as well?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Elvis? I know he would be may be be A++ at least but I feel he's rapidly diminishing in the public consciousness these days.

    ReplyDelete
  5. John Lennon. (Just kidding)

    Elvis?

    ReplyDelete
  6. How about Randy Rhodes?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Damn you Trish and your nimble fingers😫!!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Would Enty call Elvis a musician or a performer though?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Prince was murdered, and I'm not kidding. I don't believe it has to with this blind. The blind refers to Kurt Cobain.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I think Kurt Cobain is a great guess on this blind.

    ReplyDelete

    1. There was nothing "accidental" about Cobain's death though

      Delete
  11. Stevie Ray Vaughan? I noticed it says musician,so I'm guessing someone better known as a musician than singer.

    ReplyDelete
  12. *Addendum: probably Hendrix, Joplin or Morrison, since Kurt's murder was "officially" ruled "suicide."

    ReplyDelete
  13. What about Brian Jones?

    ReplyDelete
  14. The beach boy? Dennis Wilson was it?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I would agree that Prince was murder or suicide, too convenient timing. But Cobain was never an accident, I am pretty sure the person died last century. So it could be any accidental death for 100 years.

  18. I’m thinking the suggestion is it ties into a pedo ring maybe

    ReplyDelete
  19. Mr. Nelson did NOT kill himself. You can put that guess to rest. And I never said Kurt's death was an accident. I typed what the official report was. I know he was killed.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Phillip Seymour Hoffmann, maybe "suicide" like Heath Ledger.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Dennis Wilsonseems to have had many emotional problems in his later years and got into many fights with his brothers and Mike Love. And he was a homeless drunk when he died. Could be.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yeah,Enty will have blinds for months from the answers,it wasn't narrowed down much.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Okay maybe i am missing something but HOW is Cobain's death accidental? You 'accidentally' point a shotgun at your head? I think Courtney may have been behind it. Also think Prince had AIDS so really doubt that was murder.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Buddy Holly is correct. He was siphoning talent and producing them himself

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. So they murdered three other people as well?

      Delete
  25. IT'S NOT COBAIN.

I'm going with Stiv Bators because I like the idea of him being perm A+, no other reason.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ronald Scott, although probably not ‘murder’ but more not helping someone and leaving them to die.

    ReplyDelete
  27. There have already been documentaries about cobain, so suspicions are not a surprise. I 'd hate to think they'd take down other people with Holly or Vaughn. I have no reason for guess, but I'll go with Hendrix.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Rats, I really want to know this one!!! I hope it's a reveal soon, Enty!!😁

    ReplyDelete
  29. C_A installed Jerry Naylor to replace Holly

    ReplyDelete
  30. I’m going with Jimi Hendrix because there was something in the news recently about an interview with the paramedics who took him to the hospital. They said he puked up an unbelievable amount of wine that they felt he couldn’t have ingested voluntarily.

  31. Dear friends, here is a partial list of “dead” rock stars and who they were later re-purposed as:
    Janis Joplin= Amy Goodman
    Freddie Mercury= Dr. Phil
Buddy Holly (Twins) became Gram Parsons= David Geffen and Jeff Katzenberg
Pete Hamm (Badfinger) = Bill Maher
    Bobby Fuller= Bill O’Reilly
    Jimi Hendrix= Cornel West
    Sam Cooke= Louis Farrakhan
David Box (replaced Buddy Holly in The Crickets) = Charlie Rose
Paul didn’t die, he was supplemented and eventually replaced by his twin brother Mike- No, not McGear- That guy is an actor.
John is not dead. He plays a Lennon impersonator named Mark Staycer.
    George is dead.
The two main Ringos we’ve known over the later years are not dead. The actor who played Ringo on TV and in movies could be anywhere, including dead. The studio Ringo were guns for hire.
Paul was giving tours of his old house under the name John Halladay but isn’t any longer. Paul occasionally plays Paul at non-musical events.
Keep a scorecard. No group has a larger mortality rate than famous musicians, suggesting very strongly that it is all bullkarky. But what would expect from a government op like “The 60’s”?
    You are quite welcome.

    ReplyDelete
  32. but the A++ list mogul will of course prevent it amirite lol

    ReplyDelete
  33. @Substance.

Who is going to replace me?

I doubt there's anyone handsome enough but if they do get someone then hopefully he has a bigger dick than mine. My reputation could do with a boost with the ladies.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I’d say your reputation is quite fine @ Flashy! Should we have Enty do a ‘Your Turn’ to ask the ladies?

      Delete
  34. I'll throw in Gram Parsons just for the hell of it.

However, this blind is too vague.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @David Howes.

Robert Johnson? Did they interview the friend by Ouija board?

    ReplyDelete
  36. V Flash- I think you are already a replacement. By any chance were you Viv Stanshall in a not too distant iteration? For some reason I get a Doo-Dah-ish vibe from your dispatches.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Brian Jones original guitar player for the Rolling Stones. Death by misadventure.

    ReplyDelete
  38. On the Robert Johnson thing. I watched a documentary a few years ago on TV over here where they were pretty much sure that Johnson was murdered by the guy he was staying with, Isaac something or other, for snaking the guys wife. Poisoned his whiskey.

  40. John Bonham or Keith Moon or Bon Scott?

(Permanent A+ list musicians from Led Zeppelin, The Who, and AC/DC, respectively.)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Oh, Sir Big! I fucking wish! The groupies? The drugs? All those times carousing with Keith Moon and Oliver Reed?!

Now I want to watch 'Sir Henry at Rawlinson End' again.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Viv, not Big. Fuck you autocorrect! One of us will not survive their night!

  43. Mario Lanza ☺️

  44. "Death by misadventure" is what I how I wanna go.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Don't drink the pool water- Let's go hardcore: El Duce and/or GG Allin. I think they murdered each other.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Wasn't one of them hit by a train?

  46. John Denver. He died in an "accidental" airplane crash.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Extensive autopsy on PRN and there was no AIDS. The professional widow did indeed, stage and carry out Kurt's murder.

    ReplyDelete
  48. My guess is Jimi Hendrix. Everyone in his band and who was close to him at the time of his death believe his EX-grilfriend, Monika Danneman, killed him. Looks like a case of Munchausen by Proxy, where she slipped Jimi the sleeping pills so that he'd overdose, and she could save him, and he'd fall in love with her again.

Danneman was a psychopath, allegations that she was responsible for his death were met with a variety of threats from her people. Hendrix had broken up with her, and on the night of his death/murder he was at a party at Eric Burdon's place. She showed up and raised hell until Jimi went down to cooll her off and take her home.

Hendrix was dead before the ambulance was called (this was confirmed by a BBC interview with the crew). Rumor is that Danneman called back to the flat where the Burdon party was still going on, and people came over to sanitize the apartment of drugs and paraphernalia.

So yeah, my money's on Hendrix.

  49. Prince also has a son. Looks like him, sounds like him. He's an amazing young artist. PRN signed himself and Kat Glover into the hospital under "John Nelson" and "Katherine Steiner." His name is on the birth cert. I believe he will be 25(?) on March 25.

    ReplyDelete
  50. BTW, Prince is the son of Sammy Davis jr. and the Queen of all British Porpoises. Sammy was a long term guest up the palace way in 1958/9. Do some Google FU if U don't abide. Loyal subjects Belafonte and Poitier took rotating back seat duties during the royal clusterings.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Guesser ... why do you think Prince's death was at a convenient time? I didn't know there was anything suspicious about his death.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The entire world's capitals turned purple at night after Prince's "death" which oh so conveniently fell on the Queen of the Commonwealth's 90th birthday. Now ask yourself: Given that Queen Lizzie's 90th was known when to occur, obviously, and how long it would take to set something like that up worldwide, would they really expect people to buy the story that all those government buildings turned purple overnight for some has-been 80's mincing tart who just dropped dead? Yes, yes they would expect people to buy that. The royal witch gets her ego stoked and hoodwinks the world in the process. Like I said, Prince is her whelp and what a good son he turned out to be, falling on his own hoax for her.

  53. Sam Cooke. Killed by that record company executive. Not by his wife. He stole all the rights to his recordings

    2. @ Sd I never bought that story about Sam Cooke death. It was a contract killing. RIP Sam Cooke.

    3. That Klein guy was ruthless. It makes sense. IMO.

  54. Could be many. Once you reach a certain level of fame then no death is ever accepted as truth by all. First thought was Brian Jones because he was rumoured to be murdered for many years. Could be many though. Check how many musicians die from drug overdoses and accidental shootings or suicides, which could be staged in some cases -- dodgy gear supplied for example.

  55. Michael Hutchence by Bob Geldof.

    Michael Hutchence- INXS

  57. @Hky Mom, only because there was the narcon revival with the emergency landing and rumors he was dying of AIDS. He acted like nothing was wrong. Although I agree, nothing in his autopsy indicates he had AIDS, but the rumors of him dying were all over the place.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Sam Cooke, shot in a motel, in self-defense
The rumor is that his manager may have had a part.

  62. What would anyone gain by murdering Dennis Wilson?

    ReplyDelete
  63. No gender mentioned, death considered not a suicide or murder already. Could be someone that ODed. Plane crash people seem unlikely. Like, that’s a lot to go through to murder someone. Soap opera level.

    Brian Jones
    Duane Allman
    Mark Bolan
    Bobby Fuller

You could include plane crashes. I’ll say Aaliyah.

    ReplyDelete
  64. It's Brian Jones; the rumors of his death being intentional have been around since he passed.

    ReplyDelete
  65. This must be Prince. I think his family all very quickly making claims on his estate was pretty shocking for a lot of fans.

Cobain was never considered an accidental death. I'm not sure about Elvis because who even thinks about him anymore?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I’m going with the Jeff Buckley guess.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Not Prince. He weighed all of 110 pounds on a good day. He was taking all kinds of pain killers, and etc. His body was too small to handle all those drugs.

    ReplyDelete
  68. James Brown

This recently came out on CNN:

    https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2019/02/us/james-brown-death-questions/

    ReplyDelete
  69. Elvis died of a heart attack. That's natural causes, not an accident.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Aaliyah? John Denver? Sam Cooke? Jim Croce? The Big Bopper?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Silly Brian... there are no "natural cause" deaths on CDAN. Everyone was murdered. Everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  72. 1,000 claps for you, dear Tierney. Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Michael Jackson?

    ReplyDelete
  74. Sam Cooke and James Brown were singers not a musician

    ReplyDelete
  75. John lennon...

    John Denver.
    Elvis.
    Dennis Wilson.
    All good guesses.

Note: Denver was flying illegally . He had lost his pilot's license, due to flying while intoxicated.
Was flying an experimental prototype plane.
@tierney I don't know about Mr Perry... but 52 is young for a fatal stroke. Unusual.

    Now that is intriguing.
    What did he know...

  78. Michael Hutchence? Ike Turner? Apparently Ike died of a cocaine overdose.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Tierney too soon on the Luke Perry joke, too soon but it was totally Tori ;)

  80. READ THE BLIND CAREFULLY peeps! 20th CENTURY. Not 21st, so not Prince. Not Phillip Hoffman Seymour (he was an actor, not a musician). Not Michael Jackson.

    Has to be before 2001.

My guess is Jim Morrison. Sketchy details on his death. Different versions told via other junkies so their statements are shaky at best. Plus Pamela was cray and controlling over information about Jim. Took info to her grave. Maybe she killed him?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Uh, there was a MOVIE about Brian Jones and the deathbed confession of the groundskeeper/friend who drowned him. I don't understand why Etsy's "guess" is Brian Jones. Maybe there will be a different name there tomorrow. I will never believe Jimi died of drug overdose or suicide. The onsite doctor recently said it could very well have been a murder. Lots of wine in his lungs. I love Jimi

    ReplyDelete
  82. @gauloise, not Elliot, wrong century. Although, I agree with you. I think his bitch of a GF murdered him perhaps by accident. Who kills themselves by sticking a knife in their chest??? Extremely rare and most people don't really know proper human anatomy so they'd stick it some place other than the heart. Plus the fact that she refused to cooperate. WTF?! Why didn't detectives put her in a room and grill her ass for hours and hours? Why assume it was a suicide? SO sketchy and SUCH a shame. I adore his music and miss him very much.

    ReplyDelete
  83. @eeorr, what's the name of that movie you're talking about? I'd like to check it out. I agree about Jim. Sure he was a drug addict and a drunk, but that particular night too many sketchy people with inconsistent accounts.
