Good for this former A+ list tweener turned A- list adult who started asking questions to this A+ list director about some hypocritical statements he made while they were at a party together last night. He just walked away and said she was wrong without adding anything else. He also didn't appreciate being confronted in public.
Miley Cyrus/Judd Apatow

ReplyDeleteDammit, what did Judd Apatow do? Are there ANY decent people working in Hollywood?
ReplyDeleteFriends with Ryan Adams.
DeleteJudd Apatow ruined MANHOOD!
ReplyDeleteRight, @Snit? I've been traumatized by this site since the most recent Russell Crowe blind. haha and *sob*
ReplyDeleteI’m picturing the Miley Show on SNL.
ReplyDeleteI like Miley a lot. I think underneath all the partygirl stuff is a bright and reliable young woman. I used to party so whatever, it's her 20s and she is rich.
ReplyDeleteShe is also famous and successful and genuinely talented (!!!) and well connected enough (with good favor) that she CAN speak out to these people and she has the confidence to know whatever she says to them, they can't take away from her that she is MILEY CYRUS, they can't hurt her career.
So I appreciate this blind and respect Miley a bit more. Haters can hate but when I saw her crazy ass VMAs with Robin Thicke, the one thing I thought was "holy shit, this is both insane and genius." Also that she committed like a mo-fo, that wasn't no half-ass performance. She's great.
I think she tries a little to hard to be edgy. Dressing up like a guy, kissing a girl. Its too much. Just shut up and sing.
DeleteTotally agreed, Hunter. That performance with Robin Thicke was genius. She can do it all. And actually thanks to my niece, I've been a fan since the Hannah Montana days.
DeleteI hated that wrecking ball song, I heard it once and it stuck in my head for days not to mention that she collaborated with creepy uncle Terry on it. I am glad she outgrew the tongue thing.
ReplyDeleteJudd Apatow, as he's a liberal, is currently targeted by the right for his ties to Ryan Adams. The blind item published here last week was actually a rip-off of a Breitbart smear article, published just a few hours before, which claimed that they were close friends, based on a cameo by Adams in a film by Apatow and the fact that a white guy of Apatow's age tends to listen and enjoy the kind of bland and derivative country-rock Adams records.
ReplyDeleteSo, rather than admitting that he had been a mouthpiece for the alt-right by publishing that BI, our Enty makes up instead a second blind item involving Miley Cyrus, to suggest it's not just the racist fucktards who want to expose (((Apatow))) as a hypocrite. Even Miley does. While it's most likely that Miley Cyrus wouldn't even spend 30 seconds thinking about a guy such as Judd Apatow.
But, seriously, Apatow as a "A+ director"???? The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up and Trainwreck were decent hits, but Funny People flopped, and This Is 40 barely registered.
WTF drugs are you on chico?
DeleteJudd Apatow has been shittalking about what a male femininist he is for awhile now. He has been transparently devious in trying to divert attention from the pile of misogynistic crap that constitutes his career.
Also his leadership of a gang of pigs (yea, I'm being really nasty here. Think about it.) doesn't make him the most obvious candidate to be Mr. Feminist.
In fact genius, he has been playing the almighty liberal Trumpslayer precisely the way Weinstein was going to slay the NRA when he got caught. It's that obvious, nauseatingly so.
RULE of thumb? The more they attempt to play the great white saviour, the more they have to hide.
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
ReplyDeleteBest part of Miley is how she lets random, strange guys in the crowd touch her pussy while she performs on stage.
ReplyDeleteY'all love to take a shot at Miley. But I think she's awesome.
ReplyDeleteAnd @Angela -- You're ridiculous. Nobody is listening to Ryan Adams, least of all middle-age white guys.
I like Miley for just being who she is. She's independent enough that she can lead, enjoy, or detach, no interest in being just a tagalong on someone else's ride. Any credibility for confronting Apatow is a bit tarnished by her work with Terry Richardson. Seems like models were trying to expose his tactics for years before metoo, yet I feel he escaped the big sweep.I liked when Miley was hosting the VMAs, and Nikki Minaj tried to intimidate her with the hostile, "What's good, Miley?" and Miley, though somewhat shocked, held her own and basically told her to chill.
ReplyDeleteAptow has always been an asshole. He tries to be John Hughes without the talent or insight. I'm glad his star is fading.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you fail to see the elephant in the room, the big flaw in the blind, apart from Vita.
ReplyDeleteYou all accept the notion that Miley Cyrus would confront Judd Apatow about his hypocritical statements (that he supports #metoo while being friends with Ryan Adams or James Franco).
But Miley actually worked regularly with Terry Richardson for two freaking years. And when the sexual assault accusations started, she didn't say anything directly against him. She just said a couple of times that she regretted doing the "Wrecking Ball" video because of the image she got from it. People like Tori Amos released direct statements about regretting working with him and supporting the women who had spoken against uncle Terry. Cyrus never said anything like this.
I don't blame Cyrus, because it's not an easy thing to do anyway. But there's zero doubt that the charges against Richardson are more serious than the ones against James Franco (for Adams, it's exposing himself to a minor during a phone chat and being abusive towards every woman he had dated versus photographing underage models naked, repeated sexual assaults and harassment).
But that's why she would be the last person to confront Judd Apatow over his attitude. Plus, she probably doesn't even know who this Judd Apatow dude is (apart from producing Girls, as she's not in the target audience for his other stuff), or what a Judd Apatow is.
And that's why this BI is once again a fabrication. The earlier blind about Apatow and Adams was, as I said, a rephrasing of an article that had been published a few hours before by Breitbart. There was zero other information from Enty's source. It was posted here as a BI because Enty, or the guy who provided Enty with the blind, wanted to get people beyond the regular Breitbart crowd against Apatow. Enty's been confronted over this, and now it's Miley Cyrus, the very opposite of a Breitbart icon, who also blames Apatow, even if it's for something she's done herself. If she's so fearless about asking him questions about his statements, why the hell didn't she ask the right questions to Uncle Terry?
@EffYew: even though we've watched that 20 second video clip hundreds of times, it really did only happen once at a popular gay club in London.
ReplyDeleteCome on, how can you blame Terry Richardson for eating some ass and banging some models? If you get into the modeling industry thinking you arent going to be banging for work, then you deserve to be exploited, chewed up and thrown away, same as stupid rich guys that get bled out by predatory gold diggers.
ReplyDeleteI think this is more to do with james franco than ryan adams.
