Apparently one of the offspring is not even bothered about being expelled and wants to do what she wants to do.

Olivia Jade
Well I bet she's bothered by all the endorsement deals she's lost. Kind of ironic she was on a yacht when she heard the news because I have a feeling that's how she'll be earning a living for some time.
ReplyDeleteThis will probably just make her famous, and “grow her brand”. All of the stuff celebs do, and bounce back from, she will probably be an A lister in a few years. Unfortunately. No such thing as bad publicity.
ReplyDeleteagreed.
Deletewhen i saw video of her in an interview i thought she was about 16 or 17 but shes actually about 22 years old. seriously a product of arrested development.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame. She built her youtube thing up by herself at a young age. she would have been set if her parents didnt helicopter her life. Now what she did build will be kind of tarnished, but even if she keeps at youtube, with her views she should be fine.
ReplyDeleteHer famous rich parents and paid bot followers did her wonders too.
DeleteIf I could make tons of money posting stream of consciousness videos about nothing to instagram, I would probably see it the same way.
ReplyDeletesaw an interview where she said her dad also faked college. He took tuition money for uni but instead of going to school, he lied and pretended, and then used it for his business. apple meet tree.
ReplyDeleteShe is only 19, her sister is older
Or youtube or wherever her videos go.
ReplyDeleteYes, yachting is the best way to make a quick bundle of money. Beats College anyday right? LOL
ReplyDeleteHer parents are probably old-skool and have not yet warmed up to the idea that Instagram Influencers, Youtubers, Video Game testers and professional Snugglers are real careers. I am off to applying for the post of Meme Librarian.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else notice Amazon hasn't pulled her contract? Bezos obviously doesn't mind cheaters. (Oh the irony!) I really don't think OJ is cut out for college. She's lacking in the IQ department but found her way around to compensate. Good for her. As for modern careers, if I had it to do over I'd be a gamer posting on Youtube and IG about top game tips and strategies.
ReplyDeleteWhen your parents are wealthy, not unusual to not be too worried about anything. Find it interesting she’s doing the yachting thing though.
ReplyDeleteJust imagine the sort of kid an airhead hollywood bimbo would make if connected to a lowbrow Italian fashion designer.
ReplyDeleteOlivia Jade is all that, and much much worse.
If they can prove any of these kids knew, for example, that someone was taking the SAT for them, those kids should be charged too.
ReplyDeleteOJ could be a lockupstagram influencer.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Who does all the grunt work at their massive Malibu estate?
Cleaning... laundry ...maintaining those top of line cars ?
Cleaning pool ....cooking ....
Et al...
Think about it
They should have just sent her to Aveda or Fashion Institiutes, for make up or marketing really. She would've had no trouble getting in, and could've just been part time. But, the parents wanted bragging rights.
ReplyDeleteThis scandal actually got her famous, unlike the paid for bots on youtube. She gain real followers, so in 6 months she'll have more lucreative endoresements.
Knowing is one thing, signing off on it or transferring funds to pay for it is where it gets criminal.
ReplyDeleteNobody should be shoving a kid into college when they clearly don't want to go. In that instance it is all about the parents' egos, not about the kid's wellbeing.
I just wonder what kind of eating disorder Olivia Jade has. Her disproportionate face matches up with what you often see in people with bulimia.
ReplyDeleteLollipop heads
DeleteThe parents have been pretty honest, their daughters really wanted to go to Arizona State, but dad feared they'd just be dopey pincushions there.
ReplyDeleteShe acts like an entitled brat, and mom is obviously an enabler.
ReplyDeleteskanky instawhores gonna yacht, whatcha gonna do?
ReplyDeleteI saw OJ in a video talking about her makeup line. She seemed like a sweet, pretty girl but not an academic. Her parents should never have encouraged her to go to college. OJ has done amazingly well on her own without post secondary school. She should be proud of what she's already accomplished in her young life.
ReplyDeleteIf the kid doesn't want to go, then fuck 'em!
ReplyDeleteAnd another thing, if the kid decides to take you up on your offer to pay for college, that offer expires before age 45. Parents did it for I guy I used to know. Ridiculous.
I am shocked that so many of you are endorsing her behavior. CJ "she should be proud of what she's already accomplished in her young life" Good God. I know what your IQ is.
ReplyDeleteI don't see you in Medical School anytime soon.
Maybe you should consider a similar career, but I am afraid you will be "A Tuber" at Lake Powell.
Do you honestly believe that forcing a kid to go to college is going to result in a brilliant career, academic or otherwise? It is a disaster waiting to happen.
ReplyDelete@Nicole
ReplyDeleteThe crime that OJ and her family committed is serious and sad. But it is not the most hideous act either. The more investigations done in this area, we'll find this happening at many colleges as well as elite primary schools. There's also plenty of pricey private schools and tutors that help kids get from elite primary schools to elite colleges. The kids parenting are doling out tens of thousands of $$. This is the system rich kids live in. They don't know any different.
The parents are under pressure to look superior in every way including having their kids go to elite schools.
I'm not defending their actions, I'm just speaking the truth. I've known wealthy people and they live by different rules than working class.
As for OJ, her achievement without an elite school is impressive. Her parents no doubt funded her business but OJ promoted it and has done well.
OJ herself probably told her parents she didn't want to go to college but they wanted her to try no matter what. She was probably just going along with it. Given her age and under these circumstances, she probably went along to get along and didn't understand the gravity of what she was doing. She'll have a more balanced view later in life.
As for your comments, Nicole, you stooped to assassinating me in your comments and made accusations that make no sense. You come off as unhappy and entitled.
ReplyDeleteOJ - Crime. 100% She was every bit involved and used dorm/collage as a stage
for her videos.
Smarts. A lot of people call her an airhead but honestly not everyone is
successful as a youtuber - even with famous parents. Don't know
if she is smart or not but points to maybe. However not smart to get involved
in the scam for sure.
Parents - Crime. %100
Motive. For all of time rich parents pay bribes/donate millions to get
their kids in schools so they will be friends with other rich/influential
peoples kids.
All of this was avoidable, the older girl wanted to go to school so advise her to actually get on a rowing team and earn a spot. Young one doesn't want to go so invest bribe money in her business.
She never built shit by herself. You really think she'd have a tenth of her following if not for who her mother is?
ReplyDeleteI can tell by looking at OJ that she already has fillers in the apples of her cheeks by her cheekbone.
ReplyDelete@hunter, if you look at photos of her when she was younger she had a much wider nose. Now she has her mother's nose. Better than the father's nose. Whoever did his nose job did not match it to his face. It botheres me everytime I see a photo of him.
