Benadryl is a hell of a drug.
ReplyDeleteSince my pcp cut me off ambien and melatonin doesn’t cut it then Benadryl it is. 😂
ReplyDelete@Chillax, You're better off without the ambien, that stuff actually does make people do weird sh!t, it's not just a scapegoat.
ReplyDeleteMust be weed. Anyone can function on Coke of pharmaceuticals. Weed is not conducive to boring office meetings.
ReplyDeleteI can't take Ambien. I have a history of sleepwalking (did you know it's genetic?), and it made me do that. Bad drug.
ReplyDeleteElphin-- Did you ever sleep eat? I saw a news story about people who had unexplained weight gain, eventually, they installed security cams and caught themselves on camera raiding the cupboard nightly! All traced back to the Ambien.
ReplyDelete@brayaon Yeah, I would wake up w dirty spoons of peanut butter every morning, after taking ambien. Sleep eating is never good.
ReplyDelete@tinydancerI thought Benadryl was ok! Hmm🤷🏼♀️ I need to find something safe to help sleep.
I bought an ugly Prada pocketbook on Ebay on Ambien, woke up the next morning with a message that I had won and had no memory of it. $700 down the drain for a good night sleep.
ReplyDelete@Chillax, I've heard of people putting random objects in the fridge, making phone calls they don't remember, completely weird stuff.
ReplyDeleteBenadryl/diphenhydramine is about as safe as it gets. It's often used in medical situations because is plays nicer with other drugs than the alternatives. The history of it is fascinating, one of the oldest yet most effective anti-histamines, it actually led to Prozac.

Not for long term use though because eventually you'll build up a tolerance to the sedative effects. ;)
I really try hard to only buy returnable items online. I have made the mistake many-a times of buying stuff that are super on sale and then hate it when I get it but I can’t return it. 😒
ReplyDeleteVita: I have not. I have had attempted conversations with folks, walked around, moved things in the room, and turned on lights, though. My dad got into a car in his underwear when he was 16 in the middle of the night, and my grandparents found him "asleep" at the wheel. It's pretty weird. PS I slept-walked before I took Ambien, and Melatonin from the health food store gives me nightmares.
ReplyDelete@Poppies, I was trying to think who else would be up at that hour and shopping for ugly Prada. What if you were bidding against other people on ambien?🤣 Maybe there's a connection between ambien and ugly Prada. If you still have it, try selling it around the same time 🤑
ReplyDeleteNothing makes me sleep, every few days I have to be hooked up to an IV mess to allow me to sleep a good 12 hours.
ReplyDeleteI have severe brain damage, my neck and back is screwed up..
This is the real world so I just go with the flow..
I can stay up for 4 days straight, if I don't pass out somewhere in my house.
That night î do my own drip..I have passed out in the bathroom and ended up with two black eyes.
My son had been knocking, he couldn't get in because I had the deadbolt chain on, he got a ladder and climbed up to the upstairs
to his old room and got in... It was a hot ass mess and went to the hospital.. Next thing I know I'm looking at a police officer
They asking me if my husband hit me, I started laughing, I said officer if that would happen, you will be arresting me for killing him..
I've been taking CBD to help me sleep since magnesium and melatonin both give me bad dreams and stopped keeping me asleep. White wine works the best, but not so great the next morning.
ReplyDeleteOmg Trapped, that sounds terrible! What on earth?? Why? Do you hallucinate? What do they give you in the drip? This is so interesting, I really am curious to know more. If you don’t mind sharing.
ReplyDelete@poppies
ReplyDeleteYikes! better stay away from those foreclosure suctiins online ! you could wake up with a new house !

DeleteUnless Elon Musk rapes or murders someone, in my view he can do whatever he likes. Musk gives the world hope for a better future, not with vurtue-signaling tweets or making a tell-all documentary, but rather he builds rockets to Space Stations, electric cars, giga-factories to build better batteries, and is working with his brother, Kimbal, to bring healthy and sustainable food production techniques. Unlike the Hollywood rabble, he is Actually helping humanity in fundamental ways. Why the hate here for Elon?
ReplyDeleteThat's awful Trapped, sorry to hear that :(
ReplyDeleteOne of my friends took Ambien and woke up with no recollection of having sex. Luckily it was with her husband. He said it was great, so she was kind enough to not tell him that she didn’t remember.
ReplyDelete@Trapped: I’m so sorry to hear about your sleeping situation. I go through periods of insomnia and it’s awful. So glad that you have a loving, caring son.
ReplyDeleteTrapped, stay strong. Thanks for all your postings.
ReplyDelete@Brayson I have a paradoxical reaction to Benadryl and Sudafed. Make for some fun family vacations before we figured out what the issue was (figured it out in Paris when my parents thought I was being dramatic but I literally couldn’t keep my eyes open and stay awake after taking Sudafed when I was 12)
ReplyDeleteTrazadone is an excellent sleep med, and not addictive.
ReplyDeleteCan someone tell me, did Elon Musk rape some of CDAN's staff or something? Is he STILL doing it? I ask because isee no one else being shit on so consistently by revealed blinds.
ReplyDeletei would sleep eat every night on ambien then i started sleep driving. thats when i had to get off them
