Blind Item #4

This real life Empire liver was about to be interviewed to defend this permanent A++ lister. He was offered mid six figures to not do so. When he refused, he ended up dead.

They had ties. Not sure why he wouldn’t defend him..
      Maybe a Kennedy.

this article is really interesting (Goodfella's style) but doesn't mention any A++ lister.

  6. What’s an empire liver?

  7. this is chilling - right out of Goodfellas:

Cali was reportedly shot six times, and neighbors saw a pickup truck fleeing the scene. The ex-mobsters leaned on their expertise to deduce that the number of vehicles involved could reveal whether this was a true gangland hit.

“Until I find out how many cars there were, I won’t know,” said DiLeonardo, speculating that a true mafia murder plot would involve hitmen in multiple vehicles.

Alite used the same logic: “When you hit a boss there are three cars — two on each corner and one in front,” said the former Gambino gunman. “He’s not getting away.”

  11. @MDAnderson -- Think of the reference in these terms: Plotline of "Empire", "It centers on a fictional hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders' family as they fight for control of it."

Then consider who in the industry was linked to MJ and who is now dead.

    ReplyDelete
  12. @Village Guru,I think you might be on to something. Maybe someone who knew MJ? from charities that wanted to talk. The other possibilities, someone ill that was in the industry that has inside info. Mob boss offered a sum of money to turn down an interview makes no sense. It really is about a liver!

    ReplyDelete
  13. @Guesser, it's not about a liver. About someone who lived, in a sense, the plotline of "Empire". Possibly someone who was a relative of MJ.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Maybe a typo and should've read: Empire LOVER ??

    ReplyDelete
  15. Thanks Village Guru for the info. Wasn’t MJ firmer manager Frank DiLeo in the mob?? Not sure if MJ has connections to Anthony Pellicano.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Just grasping at straws😁 But I think it is someone who was a former big shot in the industry who died. Someone who would be someone who could be bribed.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Is it Joe Jackson??? Though he was around 90 years old when he passed, IIRC

    ReplyDelete
  18. This would be so much more fun if it really was about some conspiracy related to an actual liver.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @Guesser, I agree. Other than MJ, the only dead Jackson is Joe, so it would not have been him. It has to be someone who was fighting for control of... what? The estate? The industry? An industry, unless it is owned by one entity, cannot be an empire. Since the MJ effort really was a business empire, I'm sticking with estate.

    Other than that, I'm clueless.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I love liver and was sad to realize this has nothing to do with actual liver.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jussie Smollett, actor from 'Empire' ???

    ReplyDelete
  22. Fresh take: The mobster was killed because he wouldn't defend Trump against the accusations that he was involved with them with his real estate business. Trump is at perm A++ by now, right? I just don't get the Empire line, unless he just means his mob empire?

    ReplyDelete
  23. The way blind is written, he was killed to keep him from defending the permanent A++ lister in an interview. Someone really has it out for the permanent A++ lister. A category usually reserved for mega stars in the MJ/Elvis category or presidents.

Unless someone completely f*cked up writing the blind then it means the opposite.

Liver is fine. You live the life you are a liver, it just sounds way better than it reads.

  24. @JD, the mafia is an empire also so it could very well be. I don't normally associate listing ratings with anyone outside Hollywood or society lists, but I guess they include politicians.

    https://deadline.com/2016/07/empire-copyright-lawsuit-dismissed-ron-newt-gangsta-pimp-1201794572/

"Over a year after Fox, Empire co-creators Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, series star Terrence Howard, writer Malcolm Spellman and media mogul Rupert Murdoch were sued in a $10 million copyright infringement suit by “self-described ‘gangsta pimp’” Ron Newt, a federal judge has tossed the case out."

  29. Frank Cali was killed because he was ratting out other mobs to the feds.

    ReplyDelete
  30. If this blind is to be taken as it's written, it sounds like mob boss Frank Cali (who would be an ultimate Empire liver) was going to say nice things in an interview about Trump. It is well known that Trump has had long time connections and done business with the Genovese and Gambino crime families. In fact, lawyer Roy Cohn, who was mob consigliere for both crime families, became Trump's mentor, fixer, and personal attorney. If Cali was going to speak about knowing Trump it's possible another mobster from either family was afraid this would bring unwanted attention to past business dealings with Trump and wanted Cali dead to silence him.

  31. This could just as easily be about Bill and Hillary arkanciding someone. There's lots of those stories.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @HushHush, there have been many stories about the Clinton's but there have also been many investigations and, as yet, none of those stories have proven any crimes so why would someone feel the need to defend them? They are not even in the news right now. There are only a couple of A++ listers in the news right now that would need defending and they are MJ and Trump. Only one of those has ties to an "Empire liver" who was recently murdered.

  33. Chris Wow..I leave it here: "My OG partna, Bay area Street legend Ron Newt was offered $200,000 to lie and say Michael Jackson touched his kids. Ron was trying to contact me since Saturday because he was coming to LA and he wanted to share some more info about the MJ case. Ron mysteriously died yesterday"
"Emmanuel Lewis and Aaron Carter have said they too have been offered money to tell lies about MJ. Also, when LaToya Jackson was married to that devil Jack Gordon, certain media outlets would pay Gordon up to $200K as well for them to tell lies on MJ. These devils are DIABOLICAL."
"According to Austin Brown,MJ’s nephew,Robson told him once that he was offered money to lie about MJ but turned them down and told him he would never do that!"
    About his death:
'The music industry lost a legendary figure last night (March 11), as sources close to Ron Newt's family have confirmed that the former manager has passed away. Newt had a decorated history in both the streets and entertainment industry, where he's best remembered for managing his son's group known as The Newtrons. His sons enjoyed success with their music after being discovered by Diana Ross, while at one point they even grew close to the Jacksons, which left Ron Newt with numerous stories of significance that helped shed more light on the iconic family. He then went on to share his life story in the 2014 autobiography titled "All That Glitters Is Not Gold: The Music, The Magic, The Madness."

At the moment the circumstances around his passing are unknown, yet our condolences go out to his family.'

  37. ….it's RON NEWT...

This blind is about Ron Newt. He was a musician and Jackson family friend from back in the day. A real friend, not a fake/faux friend. At one point I believe Joe Jackson was managing his music career. I believe he ended up going to jail. About 2 or 3 years ago he sued the producers of the FOX show empire, claiming the show was based on his life story. He died either last week or this week. Just google Ron Newt. There's a youtube interview he did with a popular interviewer named VLAD where he discusses Michael Jackson and the allegations.

  38. I can't even concentrate on the blind, I got the giggles from "empire liver". The possibilities there are endless.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Village Guru was right - one who "lived" Empire - this is clearly Ron Newt.

Enty only refers to two people as A++

    - Michael Jackson and ... I actually think he calls Trump A+++ these days but otherwise Jackson &
    Trump and that's it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ron Newt! Oprah called him to slander M. Jackson. He had a $1 billion lawsuit against Fox and Lee Daniels for making Empire. The show aired two years after he met with Terrence Howard and told Terrence his life story.

    ReplyDelete
  41. This blind makes no sense. Ron Newt is seen on VladTV saying he was offered $200K to say Michael 'touched his kids' and he said he turned it down. But, that was years ago...he died YEARS later. He was referring to the allegations in 1993-4

  42. Is it possible that this could be connected to some kind of conspiracy to take control of the MJ Estate? I mean allegedly after he died his Sony catalog was sold which was a bone on contention according to multiple sources. (I could be wrong about that part haven't verified) If it is really worth 1.5 billion that is a lot of money and judging by the fans it will continue to make money. People have killed for a lot less.
The whole documentry seems to be a response to failed attempts by these two guys to sue for the estate and allegedly they tried to sue for the entire amount at one time(needs verification) so I mean idk, there could be more to this whole thing than just victims coming forward. IDK???
Randy Quad did say they do this kind of thing.
Just a little conspiracy thinking there.
