Probably the first time in a long time that the A+ list singer discussed in an interview the tall alliterate model. She did so in a way worthy of a blind item, but at least we see what she thought of their time together.
If you're in the entertainment industry, you're really only able to have one kind of politics.
Anyone who comes out and says they like anything at all about Trump might as well hang it up.
But if 62 percent of millenials disapprove of Trump - according to a recent UMass Survey - 37 percent of millienials approve of him. (Coincidentally, that's the same percentage that say they approve ofTwitter and Facebook, but I digress.)
Does Taylor really want to piss off 37 percent of her potential audience? Probably larger than that, since her longtime country fans trend conservative.
She's having a hard enough time fillilng stadiums.
well Kiki, Trump proved to be more of a politician after 5 minutes in politics, than Hillary ever was after 30 years in politics. Tells you exactly how shit she actual was.
It sucks because if she comes out of the closet she will lose millions of dollars per year because many people are so basic they wouldn't be able to wrap their heads around it. Although you'd think at this point you'd think she'd earned enough scratch to pay her bills.
Taylor can't comee out because it would out others. I'm sure the early boyfriends were using her,now it's the other way around. Maybe after her star fades,or if she falls in love again, then she might, but now,no way.
Swift appears to have preference for blondes(fiddle player Emily, J hough, Dianna Agron,Karlie kloss) her politcal opinions will be mild-liberal'racism/homophobia/sexism is bad' and she had one of the highest grossing tours in history last year, only Madonna ever made more money and that was with a far longer tour playing to well off middle aged types.
Elton John, George Michael, KD Lang, Linda Perry, Melissa Etheridge, Freddi Mercury, LP....the list goes on and on and on and on.
NOBODY GIVES A FLYING FUCK IF A MUSICIAN IS GAY.
Stop perpetuating this nonsense that a gay musician is somehow unacceptable due to the political leanings of the ones you call conservatives. It's their choice to stay in the closet, plenty of gay musicians were equally, if not more, successful after their coming out.
Just because your minds are small, intolerant and closed, it does not mean that those minds who oppose your political views, are the same. Projection motherfucker.
@Depeche, I used to feel the same way, surely people are open minded enough nowadays. Then one day recently on CDAN a blind came up about a closeted actor and there was a little survey. Almost all of the women on that blind said that they would suddenly find a man unattractive if they found out he was gay. I was shocked. I usually find women to be more open minded than men, but not in this case. What did it matter, for most people it's not like you'd run into a closeted celeb at the bar. But it was what it was, just how they felt. And unfortunately for acting and even music, so much of it depends on attractiveness. It shouldn't, but that's what sells. There can be a financial cost. Sure they can still make tons of money, but would it be as much as if they'd stayed in the closet? It's like getting paid to stay in the closet. If someone offered to pay people millions to pretend to be gay, most would probably jump at the chance and immediately get a nice bff that they'd only have to kiss in public. Not to mention there are foreign markets that are completely intolerant of any kind of homosexuality. Hopefully that will change with time. As for your political bullsh!t, that's you projecting. I don't support either party, seems like one party running the dog and pony show.
Depeche Model - all three of the women on that list you gave - KD Lang, Linda Perry, Melissa Etheridge, none of them had or have the girly-girl appeal Taylor Swift has cultivated.
I stand behind Brayson in this - as a woman I can honestly say - even super hot gay dudes like the one with the blue eyes who was on that USA FBI show - I can't imagine myself in a romantic situation with them because they would never truly be interested - it does kill the fantasy.
The idea of a gay man giving me a charity fuck or something just grosses me out - I want the men I sleep with to WANT to sleep with me (something not all men understand).
1) Pelosi has actual evidence of impeachable crimes committed by Trump, but isn't pursuing them because she doesn't want to divide the country. Or 2) Pelosi doesn't have any evidence the rises to an impeachable offense.
This is a serious question from a non-Trump supporter.
@thot I think they may have it and are either waiting to get more Intel or deciding if the country can handle Pence as president. They may just be waiting it out to get a democrat in the white house and both houses.
@Brayson87 You're making a fair point in my opinion, and it's not down to being homophobic or not liking gay people. I remember when Anne Heche was in 7 Days and 7 Nights (a real shocker) and she was playing the love interest of Harrison Ford (I think). It was at the same time that she was dating Ellen, and as I watched it I just couldn't suspend my belief as I knew she was gay (at the time) in real life. Going to see a film (unless it is a Ken Loach drama!) is about the suspension of belief, forgetting the world you are in and being entertained by the made up story that you are seeing in front of you. If there is an element that encroaches on your suspension of belief then it's going to be a problem. How much is going to differ and cannot be quantified. But it WILL have an effect on this suspension of belief, and therefore impact the bankability/effectiveness of an actor.
I had nothing against Anne Heche, it was just that her situation made me realise, in the moment, that what I was watching is bullshit. Like if Mel Gibson played an elderly kindly philanthropic retired Jew. It's just not believable. Not that these Jews don't exist, it's that you wouldn't believe Mel Gibson as the character if you know what I mean:)
Why everyone here is presuming Gaylor Swift needs to come out as Lesbian? She can pretend to be bisexual. As it is now, it's her only option because she lied to her fans for over a decade. There's no reason for her to come out as a lesbian anyway, she can date and even marry a woman under the bi umbrella.
I don't think she thought Karlie was a situationship by any meanings. Just listen to Reputation and see who left who.

LMAO at anyone deluded enough to claim Trump's more of a politician than career politicians.
ReplyDeleteUnless by "politician", you mean "criminal who's been bankrupted 7 times and pays off people he sexually assaults". In which case, you'd be right.
