  3. Who doesn't get drunk and pass out by noon?, am I right or am I right?.

  4. Unknown: Not ones still partying from the night before.

  5. Ellen Pompeo. Nothing wrong with this at all

  6. So she'd been drinking since when, 10 am? 10:30? to get that drunk? She should claw it back a bit.

  7. Daytime drinking is the best. Early afternoon, though... not morning. IMO.

  8. It's brunch on a weekend, there's no law against napping on Saturday or Sunday.

  9. Julie Bowen's character is always drinking on Modern Family so it must be her.

  10. I usually refer to this as tailgating, when I am that drunk in the morning, but you can call it brunch.

  11. +1 J, never understood the bias against day drinking, it's so much more fun than night drinking. Sh!t it's what most people do on vacation anyway. Oh no we'd rather be drinking when most things are closed and we're feeling tired.

Also don't understand the bias against morning drinking. I don't do it, but also don't see how guzzling gallons of liquid caffeine is morally superior. People might be less grumpy with an eye opener.

  12. Because morning drinking, especially to excess, is usually a sign that there is a problem. Depends if it's habitual, I guess.

  13. The DH and I go day drinking at least twice a month. We are older and most of our friends are retired military or own their own businesses. We all go about 10-11 am at a local another friend owns. We may or may not get lunch and are home by 2. We Uber. We tip extremely well and don’t cause any problems. Something for you young uns to look forward to. If we’re riding, the limit is two.

  16. When you are an actress who doesn't eat, then noon sounds about right.

  18. I have never enjoyed day drinking.... it ruins the day & it doesn’t feel good to me to have a hangover before bedtime ...

"Passed Out" is probably an active chronic alcoholic .
One thing (many things) I learned in AlAnon.. drinking to point of passing out is a bad sign.

  21. Ha ha at all the Yank amateurs bunching their panties up about morning drinking.

The acceptable reason you shouldn't be drinking at 11am is because you're just coming home from the night before.

  22. It’s brunch, let her Live!!

  23. She’s just resting her eyes

  24. An A list actress is likely very skinny and starving so it's not hard to believe that 2 bloody marys (where the bartender knows it's for a celebrity) would overwhelm an 80 lb young adult with 10% BMI

  25. Hangover before bedtime is way better than a hangover in the morning, you've got an extra eight hours to let it wear off.

People toss around "passed out" very loosely. To me it's just falling asleep deeply before I finish a book chapter or somebody falling asleep on a couch late at night. To other people it triggers PTSD of their parent snoring on the broken tile floor of the kitchen after they beat the cat.

  27. When "On a mission" I drink from when someone is sober enough to cook the fry-up.

Airports serve cocktails for breakfast at 6am and i start my holiday then.

  28. I feel really left out......I've never been drunk in my life, never had a hang over.

One glass of wine and I'm yawning my head off, three wines or two cocktails and I'm asleep so I've never been able to stay awake long enough to reach drunk.

  29. Back in the day when I was a competitive drinker, I could have “brunch” and be passed out by NINE instead of NOON. Amateur 😂

  30. There comes a point when really chronic drinkers can have a very unpredictable reaction to alcohol. The common wisdom is that a heavy drinker builds an enormous tolerance, but in fact the opposite can occur, whereby they have just two or so and become incoherent, completely shellacked. NOT saying that's the case here, but it's possible a person could set out for a couple light mimosas and end up face-down in the hollandaise.

  32. I love day drinking.
Ive (proudly) been cut off twice in the same day... same bar. That was a LONG day.

  33. If you day drink, you have to night drink. It has to be an crazy all day / crazy all night thing.

  34. Hey now, don’t be knocking brunch drinking/drunking… And who amongst us hasn’t drank in in the morning when we’re on vacation? No judgement for this blind. Looks like we’re in agreement here lol. Oh, and my two cents is it’s Julie, but who cares as long as It’s not a regular thing and she’s not driving home? Hope you had fun, Julie!

  35. The only problem I have with this blind is that I usually go to brunch at 1 or 2 so couldn’t possibly be drunk by noon.

  36. I fucking love drinking. Day drinking is good, vacation drinking is better, starting with 10am mimosas.

God I miss it so much.

    *sobs quietly*

  37. @Cat Owner -

I will enjoy my hollandaise as I damn well please and thank you to mind your own business. ;)

  38. I don't drink, it's nasty and I get toxic effects before I'm even done with one drink. Back in the day, though, I'd drink all day. Passing out at noon means she was hitting that bottle hard straight outta bed - and she is an alcoholic. That describes 90% of the women in Hellyweird.

  39. I've done this on a Tuesday after mimosas. It's just a nap!

  41. In the world of bartending this is the point where you would slam your hand very hard on the bar or table in front of sleeping individual and yell, "WAKEY WAKEY, EGGS AND BAKE-Y!!" which is another way of saying gtfo and go eat something.
