  3. I also watched the finale of True Detective and it was worth every overrun minute too.

  4. Watched my pot as it boiled (made an assload of freezer jam). But I did see the last few minutes of the Oscars, because I was waiting for the news. So....I guess the news is what I watched.

  8. I wasn't planning on watching the Oscars but I did. There's enough down time built in that it was easy to do everything I had to do to get ready for work today. It was fairly entertaining

  9. @omfg Right?! That shit is bananas.

I watched GoT (hubs and I have never seen it), then the first bit of the Oscars, then went to bed to read.

Catching up on True Detective today so I'm trying to avoid spoilers.

  10. "Walking Dead."

    I think it's lost something.

Maybe it's 'Jumped The Shark' and it hasn't hit me yet.

  12. We watched Robin Williams' last (or second to last...I am not sure) film "Boulevard."

And I cried. I miss him.

  15. I read a couple of comic books.

  16. Deadpool 2. The wife was in a sad mood, and I figured True Detective would not be a good antidote for that.

  17. True detective finale - it was great acting but I wish the ended would’ve been a little tighter. Season one is still my favorite

  22. @David Howes

i agree about TWD. i was a rabid fan all these seasons. watched the entire series at least 6 times.

but when Rick went away and the "new world" came ... it did nothing for me. nothing. i never really liked Michonne anyway but after Rick and her 'tude ... yea. no.

    i stopped watching.

rick being gone killed it for me.

  24. @omfg B was a manipulative sociopath through and through. The fact that the family gave him a second chance is BEYOND my comprehension. If you need a palate cleanser, the Studio 54 doc was pretty entertaining and crazy (in a fun way).

  25. Nothing. Read for awhile and went to bed early.

  26. I read the DM article about that family and I was just stunned. I’d have shot that dude, not invited him into my house to rape my young daughter! WHAT IN THE HOLY HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!

  27. All pedophiles deserve the rope. Actually, they deserve slow, painful torture. The fact that this doesn’t happen is a travesty. It’s another crime on top of perhaps the worst crime there is.

  28. True Detective finale

  29. Miracle Workers. Great show!

  30. The Walking Dead. It may not be as good as it once was, but Daryl is killing it this season.

  31. Read John Doe and Hmmmmm on Twitter waiting for Enty to post his Sunday podcast.

  32. I watched the Oscars to see Adam Lambert & Queen.

I stayed because I figured the rest of the show would be bad in a good way.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Binge watched Surviving R Kelly...and now I can't unsee it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. A forty-six year old Star Trek cartoon about evil cats in pink fetish suits and a pink flying saucer. Actually, that might have been the Oscars.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm with E...didn't intend to, but watched Oscars bc easy to do other things while watching.

  42. Season 1, Episode 1 of The Sopranos.

My husband has never seen it, and I'm trying to get him hooked.

Tony Soprano: "I have a semester and a half of college, so, yeah, I understand Freud."

We will be back for Episode 2!

  47. What ever was on TCM.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I will freely admit that I watched the Oscars and truly missed the old Award Talk thread that you used to have enty! My hubby got bored and so did I, but it is tradition!

I have not seen A Star Is Born, but I looked forward to the song and that was my favorite part.

I would have screamed if a Netflix picture won Best Movie - especially after all the reviews I saw panned the flick.
