I don't always pay attention to how many rides my Uber drivers have completed, but the other day I had someone who was slightly over 10,000 which is the most I can remember. Has anyone seen higher numbers from any Lyft or Uber drivers.
I don't use them at all.. The uber dropped me off at the wrong place, when I told him he had the address mixed up he told me to get out his car.. I was on crutches and had to walk 1/2 mile on crutches. The manger saw me and asked what happened I told him.. He called the service and won't be using them any longer. I was totally upset but I didn't make a bug deal out of it..
Obviously your own car or friends/family are preferable, but Uber/Lyft are way better than the old taxis. Wherever you are, as long as you have a smartphone, you have a ride. I've even known people who have used Uber to get to the ER because it was quicker than an ambulance.
I doubt my little area has one even over 1,000.

ReplyDeleteAnd, I've heard that Las Vegas has more than 40,000 drivers for the online taxi services.
My daughter drove for awhile, but she said after a couple of months, she wasn't getting as many rides as when she was a "new" driver.
To me that's a scam.
If I need a ride, I will just bum one off of a relative.
