If her current benefactor decides to dump her, this former almost A- list mostly movie actress turned escort would have virtually no money. Her grandiose ideas are great for interviews, but not reality.

Lindsay Lohan
I don’t know, after listening to your podcast about her. I would pay good money to watch a Tood Margarett type of show where this woman creates more damaging self-inflicted wounds every week.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it would end the same as Todd Margarette, but I feel she has more comic potential than David Cross with few schemes.
@shawn that's a brilliant idea! I don't know how many people here are familiar with the show The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margret but it was hilarious. Lohan could do this! Just get a director to tell her they're going to film every genius decision she makes for a month and then roll the cameras. She wouldn't even know she's in a mockumentary.
ReplyDeleteWhen her mother naively admits she has a boyfriend of 5 years that she has never seen, I feel for those Lohan kids...
ReplyDeleteAlso....
ReplyDeleteRachel Weisz won a BAFTA tonight, for The Favourite.
M. Ali also won a BAFTA tonight, for Green Room . ( Im sorry I can't spell his first name... but congrats).
A Star is Born won for Best Original Music .

DeleteShe would have virtually no money? She HAS no money, she lives off of everyone else. User/klepto/liar.
ReplyDeleteUnrealistic grandiose ideas could be just about any celeb these days.
ReplyDeleteChristina, I LOVED that show. But I’ve always loved David Cross. I loved Wonder Showzen and that other show with the weird animated super heroes, I think it was called something like Freak Show? It was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Lohan is dumb and always has been. There is like zero chance she’ll ever get her shit together. So might as well enjoy the downward spiral.
Astra! My friend used to book acts for venue in SF. One night, David Cross did a stand up show there. Afterwards, she went with him to this outdoor bar for drinks. They drank beer, smoked a little weed and he told her stories. By the end of the night, she literally was in pain -- he had made her laugh so hard that she muscle soreness in her abs for days afterward. Now that's a comic!
ReplyDeleteWhat trailer park is going to be blessed with that treat someday?
ReplyDeleteI like Lohan . The more the media tries to hurt her, the more I like her.
ReplyDeleteWhen she got bad press in the US, she took her act overseas.
Like Mariah, she has nerves of solid steel. When she crashes...she gets back up again.
Every time.
Life isn't about being perfect. It's about brushing yourself off and having another try.
She's a survivor. Be safe Lindsay and God bless you.
👍
DeleteChristina, I am so jealous! He seems like he’d be so fun! Thanks for sharing, im so glad he wasn’t a jerk.
ReplyDeleteI mainly agree except she shouldn't have to broadcast it on tv
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for LL. She has serious addiction problems.
ReplyDeleteRDJ went through a lot of the same things, and most people were still behind him. Look at where he is now!
I'm not saying LL has as much talent or smarts as RDJ, but I believe everyone should have a chance to redeem themselves.
LL is really working hard to reinvent & rewrite her fate & I applaud her for that. She didn’t get The guidance she deserved as a child & I understand Queen Oprah & Hanoi Jane have stepped in to mentor ger. Regardless, her new show about the beach club in Greece is actually decent. I’m rooting her her! I much prefer a happy ending to an 0verdose story.
ReplyDeleteJF and Hunter: Your smug, ignorant comments make me so nauseous and angry.I contracted Lyme Disease about 30 years ago when I was 8 years old, hiking in the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. This disease has wreaked havoc on my life. Please don't make factual comments about what you don't know. Either learn about what you're talkin about or shut the F up. I would never wish for anyone to go through what I have, but I sure wish y'all could actually witness what this disease does. I am currently coming out of a really devastating three years; I've had to relearn how to read and write and walk and basically think. At times I did not recognize my own husband or son or Mom and Dad. Please educate yourself and learn some compassion.
ReplyDeleteWho's the sugar daddy?
ReplyDeleteI'm actually rooting for Linds. It's great she's opening up clubs and finding a different career path for herself, and she does seem to be at least coherent again. Baby steps. I want her to become successful. I don't think she's a bad person. I think she has a shit family that enabled her awful choices as a child star and the paparazzi were relentless. I actually have compassion for her. I hope she continues to overcome because I don't see a dumb girl here. She's not the smartest, but I think she has enough of a brain to be a success in her future endeavors if she surrounds herself with the right people.
ReplyDeleteLeave her alone.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, she left the country, left the people who helped bring her down, no she is not innocent but she was involved with the most vile people ever here in the US so maybe she is doing better now.
I am sure, addict or not, she wants a proper future, she is not a child anymore.
I wish her the best, I hope she does get to work in the night club industry for real and she makes a nice life for herself.
She has no one to count on, never did and that alone is hard.
Suzy Q - You are not alone. I don't have Lyme Disease (but I was tested for it), but I did have a Traumatic Brain Injury a few years back which left me in almost an identical situation. I had to relearn to write, hold a pencil, shower, walk, feed myself, dress myself, shower alone, everything. I, too, did not recognize my own mother. Had an entire conversation with her after which I told her that I should introduce her to my Mom because I thought they'd get along really well. Her answer, "Jennifer. I am your mother." Me: "Well, that explains it, I guess!" It's not easy to lose everything you have and not know if or when you will get any or all or none of it back. Hang in there, girl...I am!
