Blind Items Revealed #5

February 1, 2019

This A- list mostly television actress who somehow stays that high despite being on some really forgettable shows as of late has been enlisted by a studio to help out on an Oscar campaign. She agreed and has really sold herself out by doing so. I hope the next gig is worth it.

Rachel Bilson/Rami Malek

  1. I don't understand how she could help with the Oscars. What am I missing?

  2. enjoy your tainted oscar rami - it was more important to you than the kids your director drugged and raped.

he's got nothing in the pipeline after Robot's final season and is privately frustrated he isnt getting more offers. I hope he disappears, full throttle oscar curse.

the pic she posted on instagram of the two of them from back in the day. Fox reaching out to people who knew him to put out endearing distractions like nostalgic shit to make people forget he's lied big time, twice, to the public.

  4. After having to leave her last show bc of harrasment, your own reveals Enty, she probably figures this is what she needs to do to work.

oooooor she could get a normal job, but she doesnt want that - she wants to be an *actress* - which is why she is willing to sell out, even if its to help a film and an actor whose silence and lies are complict.

    she can go get fucked.

  6. And I hope her Oscar efforts fail.

  7. Thank you notthis.

I have to say, the idea seems far fetched and a bit of reach. If I'm being honest, I thought he did a great job as Freddie but not Oscars-great. It all seems less like a win for a great performance more like a point trying to be made that Hollywood has no intentions of cleaning out it's closets.

  8. They have never ever made any attempts to clean out their closets, and they aren't about to start now.

  9. @nott-why the hell should she have to leave her profession bc of sexual harrassers?! She's been working in the industry for a long time, she shouldn't have to throw that away & start over somewhere else.

Sounds like you've got jealousy issues.

lets go on a fun short journey, Andi! where we explore reading comprehension, and all of its joys:

"oooooor she could get a normal job, but she doesnt want that - she wants to be an *actress* - which is why she is willing to sell out, even if its to help a film and an actor whose silence and lies are complict."

I was making a point that she has a choice - no one is forcing her to sell out and help Fox, a studio that has enabled Bryan Singer and other predators for DECADES, or cosign Malek's lies - but she actively is choosing this, because she still wants to be a prominent actress - and with Fox, she thinks she'll get something that will keep her there. She doesn't care if she is helping out sexual harassers by helping out Fox. She doesn't have to, but she decided her being an actress is more important.

You help them out, you're complicit. Its the way it works. She's quid pro quo.

also, to your last sentence - as someone who would hate to be famous and in front of a camera (I work behind it), I can safely say my argument comes from a magical thing called logic, and not jealousy. tho I do feel bad that Hayden was gay, she deserved better than to be attached to a lie.

  11. It's a bit of a stretch that doing a favor by posting one picture to instagram is "selling out"

Also this recent idea that just because you worked with a predator or talked to someone who is a bigot, makes you a predator or bigot is really scary and 1984-ish. Rami got cast, he did his job. Unless he was involved with Singer raping kids, I dont see the hate, or maybe i am missing something and he is a predator too

  12. There are only so many leading man 'weird guy' roles out there. He's had a good run with Robot and Freddie roles but he probably falls back to weirdo/quirky supporting roles unless his current success has ruined him for them. If his career even approaches Steve Buscemi's he should be ecstatic.

TO nothisagain---Andi comprehended what you wrote, so did I and everyone else...but you compounded your mistake by acting like a jerk.

  14. So what? Rami didn’t have a decision in who the director of the film was. Stop blaming him for Singers behavior. Didn’t Enty have blinds about how Rami was instrumental in getting thrown off the picture anyway?

  15. If they want Rami to win they should talk to Harvey Weinstein. Now HE knew how to lobby the Acadamy for some Oscars.

  16. @Shamaro: HE GOT FIRED BECAUSE HE WASN’T SHOWING UP FOR WORK. 2 WEEKS BEFORE FILMING ENDED. How many times does this need to be stated?

  17. Rami didn't do anything wrong and he's good in the movie, so don't know where these sour grapes are coming from. Someone is jealous or bitter?

  18. Hope you get your oscar Rami, you deserve it. Let your haters kiss your ass . Always a loser out there who hates others success.
