  1. Thank God!

The world doesn't have enough children, especially not enough spoiled Hollywood kids.

    Thanks for saving us, Jennifer.

  2. Ryan Adams for the guy.

    Just kidding.

    He still sucks.

  3. Yah maybe Mr. Miller doesn't want kids eh Jenny? He probably will have enough trouble dealing with living with the ones you already have.

  5. Isn't Garner's bf still married?

  6. So she is 50... which means when her kid turns 30, she’ll be 80...honestly, there’s such a profound selfishness when older ppl have kids - ever think how the kid will feel having their parents dead before they even turn 40? No, bc it’s all about what the parent wants - they don’t think about how it will hurt the kid emotionally having older parents.

My parents were older than most others when I was born and they were the best parents a girl could have. By the time I was born they were very successful and could be there with me and watch me grow up. The love they had for me and showed me is what all children should be lucky enough to have. My house was the one all my friends migrated towards growing up. I just pray that I can be even half as good a parent to my children as they were to me.
Sorry, its Valentine’s Day and I came on to read Jussie news. But not all children mind older parents, it doesn’t make them selfish! Give me a 50 year old parent with wisdom over a 16 year old teen mom ANY day!!

    3. You will ADORE it, Meg.
Best of luck to you and your partner, from another older parent xo

    4. @Meg

I usually get automatic emails and am glad I did, to see yours. You are still young, and ignore those who you feel judge you.

My parents struggled w/my older sisters. They had amazing love, but it was either make career or family sacrifices and they put all their children first. When I came along, both parents were in their 40’s. They showed me the world. They took me to the Opera, Symphonies, Museums, the Zoo, all types of sporting events, etc. They made sure I was well-versed and I sooo appreciate both of them. We read the paper together in the mornings, etc. I had an idyllic childhood.

My bi-polar middle sister (whose place I took as the baby) always tried to get me to judge my parents because they were older. Fast forward and she adopts @ 60!!! Now 60 is old to be a mom. We are healthier and living much longer, but I digress...

I was mad that my parents didn’t camp. I blamed it on their age. Nope, they just didn’t like it. So, I camped on retreats and now I camp with my husband and love it!!

I have since lost both parents, but I do not feel they were selfish in the slightest. They were actually quite selfless. Not a day goes by that I don’t want to honor them and make them proud, even if they aren’t here to respond in person.

  7. Not this shit again. When you are 30 or 40 you are selfsufficient, hopefully, and not a little kid.

  8. She is 46 but may be 50 by time the blessed event occurs.

  9. You can be 15 and have a kid, then die a month later.

To me the issue is we're gonna be pushing 10 billion people soon.

I'm sure Jennifer Garner considers herself a friend of the earth... but every time someone has a new kid they expand their impact by HUGE amounts.

I see people driving Priuses with those little stick family stickers on the window... three kids say. What a bunch of poser idiots.

    1. OMG I HATE those stick figure family stickers.

Nothing makes me want to “Lemonade” a car more than those stupid stick figure cutsie family stickers.

    2. They make Dinosaur stick figures to eat the family stick figures!!!
      I love it.

  11. I think this ageism is insulting to people raised by their grandparents for whatever reason.
Worried how the kids will feel if their parents/guardians die before the kids are even 40? First off I imagine that most people would be grateful to have been born, like who is going to complain that their parents are too f*cking old? "Oh these parents are too old, let's use the blankie to hang ourselves from the side of the crib."
Secondly, if people got to choose between young parents and wealthier parents, they'd choose wealthier parents every time.
Thirdly, might be nice to get a little inheritance when you're a young adult, housing and children are not getting cheaper with time.

  12. Let's not even get into comparing the selfishness of people having children they can't afford vs people having children they can afford. Not to mention the need of maintaining the population, if it wasn't for immigration the US would look like aging Europe or even Japan.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Brayson, I don't care what the US looks like in x years. All black people? No problem. All latinos? No problem. Space aliens? That's fine too. But even the US is way overcrowded now, and it's nothing compared to places like Sao Paolo. Too many people on this planet. Far far too many.

But precious Jen needs more kids, and people will see her in the magazines and need to have their own little geniuses too...

Glad I won't be here when billions of mouths go hungry.

  14. Thanks @Brayson87!

And I am not buying this blind. They say this about Jen Aniston every relationship she gets into after Brad had kids. Every woman in Hollywood past 40 is supposedly ready to run to the IVF doctor if they don’t already have kids or are in a new relationship. Why aren’t men treated the same way? I never see the “selfish” parent blinds when men (Richard Gere) have kids in their late 60’s, what about Clint Eastwood? Al Pacino, De Niro?!?? This screams of a story any tabloid would print, because of the reactions posted already. Not cool...

  15. Tony Randall fathered a kid when he was, what? In his 80s?

    That was a dickhead move.

    ReplyDelete
  16. @J, The US way too overcrowded? It has vast open spaces, deserted small towns everywhere. Decent jobs are the issue, not enough and congregated in small overpriced areas.
Starvation in the world today is mostly the result of bad governments and their policies, not overpopulation. Try getting food through Africa without every warlord and douchebag local politician getting their piece.

  17. If not for Haber-Bosch nitrogen fixating, the world's carrying capacity would be far less than present population:

    https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12052-009-0143-2

The US is 300 million or so (consuming like crazy), that's maybe 10% of the world's truly sustainable population. I'd call it overpopulated (because I like open space and abundance), but in any case it's hard to say it's underpopulated.

If fossil fuel availability declines, so does Haber-Bosch process output. Look out below!

Maybe folks can eat magazine covers with Jen's kids on them.

  18. J, if you're so concerned with overpopulation, do Gaia a favor and lead by example.

  19. Joe, blow me.

And, after, if you disagree please counter my argument.

  20. People avoid me at my job, I live in my mother's basement, I have not discernible job skills, and I watch porn in my spare time which is 5 - 10 every night. No one wants to procreate with me that's for sure.

  21. How about letting your three current children recover from the shock of divorce,Jennifer?
Before you throw New Guy And New Baby in their faces ?
Just a thought. Her ego is too big & wide to think that way.

  22. Rosie, don't you have a doomed kid to ignore?

  23. So, to sum up this "blind item":

Woman in relationship wants to have baby.

Seriously, who cares? Why is this a blind item? The only surprising thing about it is that people in the comments seem to have really strong opinions about something so bland.

  28. My parents were in their thirties when I was born. My dad died when I was 17, and my mom died when I was in my 30’s. So you never know what life will bring.

That being said, I do believe that men having kids in their 60’s or 70’s is pretty ludicrous.

Jennifer Garner doesn’t seem to have the best judgement in terms of having kids. I always thought that their son was a ‘bandaid baby’ as their marriage was already in a bad place when she had him. I think she’s being a bit selfish here. Her kids have gone through a rough time, and they need stability, not a new sibling in the mix.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Old sperm is not conducive to healthy kids. Old wombs, not so much either. Breast cancer increases in older mothers. Too much cell regeneration at that age increases the odds of bad cells sneaking through.
But that's not what this item is about. Garner is spook connected and someone's baby is going to be raised by her retinue to be a future asset. She won't carry it re: the above, but she will be the caretaker and raise the kid to function, like her, as a propagandist, top shelf yachter, etc. within the discreet halls of power. I see her as a distaff version of someone like William Holden. Blue blood, an actor by day, intel asset by night. Alias wasn't just a show. These creeps do like to confess now and then just to see who's paying attention.

  30. Interesting posts. From my perspective of seven decades, my father continued having children into his forties as a testament to his virilty and wealth.
My mother? It was her duty, she loved my dad, she didn't practice birth control.

  31. US has land but out in the west water supply is an issue. 85% of water usage is from agriculture. More population = need for more farm land to feed, meaning more water usage.
