You would have to literally give this A+ list dual threat actress who is much more known for movies, $100M to get her to work on another season of the show she said she was done with after one season. To make matters worse for the second season, they hired even more A list people she doesn't like.
Reese Witherspoon/Big Little Lies/Nicole Kidman/Meryl Streep

Ok Laura-Jean
ReplyDeleteThat's Laura Jean Poon, AMERICAN to you, peon.
DeleteHaha! Never forget!
DeleteBLL did not even need another season after season 1. Seriously, they could have added one more episode to the first season if they wanted to show if anyone was actually convicted. Then to add Meryl Streep after her "HW is god" and standing ovation for Polanski resurfacing after the #MeToo movement and it suppose to be a show for women...give me a break. lol So, I cannot blame Reese.
ReplyDeleteNever watched the show
ReplyDeleteMe neither, Trapped. I don’t watch any show, really. I just like to talk shit about celebs. 🤷🏼♀️ Their real life bullshit is far more interesting than the make believe they do.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were all friends?
ReplyDeleteAnd you would have to pay me 1M,
ReplyDeleteto watch Witherspoon in anything.
I would have prefered they make a different Liane Moriarty book into a mini-series instead of giving BLL a second season. My Husband's Secret was great, I could picture Reese playing the main character well.
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing about BLL at this point is the show introduced me to the very talented author, Liane Moriarty. I liked the first season of the show and then read the novel. The novel, of course, is better. Reese Witherspoon and Adam Scott are both miscast in the show, imo, though the other actors aren't. Nicole Kidman is perfect for the character in the novel and so is Laura Dern. I think they needed just one more episode, not one more season. I'll still watch.
ReplyDeleteGood news @laineylizbro -- another network is making one of Moriarty's books, The Hypnotist's Love Story. I read that one, too, and it's really good. The network is ABC. Starring Heather Graham. (She plays the stalker/villain, not the hypnotist lead.) https://deadline.com/2019/01/hypnotists-love-story-abc-drama-pilot-order-heather-graham-star-liane-moriarty-book-1202534866/
Reese is so unlikable. After her drunk "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM???" I can't. It also seems every movie she's in, she has to play the woman men are fighting over. I can't suspend my disbelief that much.
ReplyDeleteAgreed
DeleteI started The Hypnotist’s Love Story on vacation last summer, based upon watching BLL. I can not wait to finish it next season, lol.
ReplyDeleteEven though she has turned me off with her real life attitude, I still enjoy her. I never watch anything on pay cable, but I really liked this show. Liberal Meryl is another person I normally would ignore since her award show antics, but I will watch it.
ReplyDeleteI think one of the reasons I enjoy shows/movies like this is because it is obvious to me that they are faking their friendships, but most people don’t know and I love that these smug b*+ches are forced to do the press. I love to see how uncomfortable they are.🤣
If the kravitz bimbo goes nude, i will watch.
ReplyDeleteReese is a racist...
ReplyDeleteLets not forget her niggers love chixken recording.. Her loyal friends leaked of her teasing..
Are they trying to get me to like Reese Witherspoon more? I was already impressed when she told that tool to stay away from her daughter, but I too dislike Meryl Streep, fakest b!tch around who knew what Harvey was up to.
ReplyDeleteYou keep being you, Reese :)
