The studio is so ticked off at this A+/A list mostly movie actor/director for how he left them in the lurch with a character that they have said it is fine to make it look like he was fired because he is old and haggard.

  10. @AListDiva, Every Gotham thing has potential, but it always turns to camp eventually. I think DC could do a lot better away from Warner, but that's never going to happen.

    One of the Batman comic timelines has him as just that; I forget the name, but he's one like "Robin" number 4 and it's a young girl, and about as grim as grim can get; Ben would be perfect.
