ReplyDeleteI agree with this. I don't know who is repping her now but when I met her she was so kind, and personable but the manager/publicist who was with her literally looked dead behind the eyes. I still remember the woman just looking so ghoulish and cold, while Mandy was exuding warmth. It made me wonder how many other celebs are represented by something like that lady. Scary

ReplyDeleteIDK. I met Mandy before years ago and she was very kind and gracious. I don't believe these blinds about her being awful, especially to her cast members. She seems to genuinely enjoy working with them, and they seem to be a tight-knit cast. Who knows though-- I may have caught her on a good day.
ReplyDeleteOmg I met her too several years ago and she was SO KIND!! She was gracious and sweet. She gave me a hug and we spoke for a bit. Not only do I not believe she's a big ass bitch, but I don't mind if she has turned into one. This industry either makes you tough or weak and withered.

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe she's difficult. She is probably the luckiest girl in Hollywood right now (and that's saying A LOT). She was thisclose to obscurity and landed a tv show, on a network even, which turned out to be a huge hit. She would have been lucky to even get an almost network or streaming.

As I the only one who thinks MM lights up a screen? And probably a room... she has always been a beautiful woman, and she is a talented singer. I don't know if she is mean, petty or whatever, but it's not shocking that she landed this role or others before... she has charisma. Also, if she truly is bitchy in real life - she is one helluva an actress!

I, too, have a very hard time believing she is a bruja. When she was a teen singer, my daughter and her friends loved her music and loved watching her appearances on TV. She always came across as a solid, happy and gracious soul. (No shill here, just a sometimes poster who has always wondered from where and why these stories about her ill-mannered behavior came.) Things that make ya go hmmmmmmm..... (And you are welcome for the ear worm!) :)
ReplyDeleteNo shill here, either, but I worked with her once for an entire (very grueling) day and she was very nice and friendly, treated all of the crew like friends. She had a weird PA who would butt in on conversations to ask her if she wanted water while pointedly ignoring the rest of the people there.
ReplyDeleteHey Brayson I've been here since day 1. I was even at the original CDAN-CON in 2006. I've known Mandy since her Candy days which is why I never comment on these blinds. She is the sweetest celeb ever. Her people maybe not, but she is adorable in every way.

ReplyDeleteEver seen her in "Saved"? I get super strong Saved vibes. Very, I'm one of you and I like you cause I'm supposed to, catch me on a good day and you'll love me. BUT... yeah, I'm better than all of you. Not to mention, the "This is us" cast are looking more and more like Desperate Housewives. Except for maybe Justin, once you've been in daytime, it seems your ego tends to stay pretty grounded. Damn, wine with lunch makes me blather on.

ReplyDeleteShe def has a shill army a while back there was a post about her and I said how she was a ho and could never be alone, always jumped into a new relationship and suddenly these comments pop up with timelines of her realationships and how she was actually into commitment lol ok. As for the Ryan Adams thing good on him for telling her she wasn't a musician, he was correct.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many rumors about her being a bitch, and IIRC wasn't there a comedian who revealed that one of the biggest bitches he met in Hollywood was Moore? I remember it was something about waiting in line to get coffee and how she was a total bitch while ordering it, so yes, I can believe she's bitchy and entitled.
