As part of her settlement deal this A- list mostly television actress is not allowed to discuss the real reason she won't be back for another season of the hit network show on which she has a main role. I think she bites her tongue really hard when giving the runaround to reporters.
Taraji?
ReplyDeleteLauren Cohen? Maggie is a pretty major character on TWD and she's just disappeared.
ReplyDeletethe walking dead is cable (AMC), no? isnt she on that new show that looks awful, but is a network show (CBS), called whiskey cavalier?
ReplyDeletealso this were rumors a couple days ago floating around that her Walking Dead character named Maggie may have a spinoff series.
ReplyDeleteHalston Sage leaving Orville??
ReplyDeleteMaybe it’s Someone from Greys Anatomy and the reason is Ellen is staying.
ReplyDeleteSandra Oh still on after comeback?

DeleteI was thinking chelsea peretti. She recently made a comment that it wasn't totally her decision to leave Brooklyn 99
ReplyDelete@pumpa
ReplyDeletegood one pumpa, I didnt even think about that!
I don't understand how it works in the US with the network shows and cable shows, can someone tell me the difference? It will assist me with future guesses!
ReplyDeleteConnie Britton / 911
ReplyDelete@LondonGirl
ReplyDeletethe 'network' shows are owned by the big corps like FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS and are included in the bare minimum for 'basic cable'
for 'pay cable' - as in, you're not one of those first few networks, but other channels - thats when it becomes a 'cable' show
now when you are talking about HBO or Showtime etc, thats 'premium cable/paid cable' where people pay a premium for it - think Game of Thrones, Shameless, VEEP, etc
sorry, its still confusing lol

@LondonGirl
ReplyDeleteNetwork show is something that is on ABC, NBC, CBS (Big Bang Theory, NCIS). You don't have to pay to watch it through normal tv channels and if you kick it old school, you just need an antennae on your tv.
Cable: First tier of cable and it's basically free if you have cable tv. Things like Home and Garden Television.
Almost Network: The CW (is it still called that)
Pay cable: HBO, Showtime, STARZ. You have to pay extra for these channels
Streaming: Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu
Beau Garrett. The good Dr.
ReplyDeleteNetwork: NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox.
ReplyDeleteAlmost network: The CW (it's technically the fifth network, but it's much smaller than the four others, and focused on young adults rather than all watchers)
Premium cable: HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax.
Cable network (basic cable): almost every other network, like FX, Freeform, TBS, TruTV, AMC, USA, SyFy, TNT, Paramount, etc.
Almost television: mostly Netflix, but sometimes Hulu or YouTube
It can't be Lauren Cohan for the blind item, because she more or less left The Walking Dead (AMC, thus cable) to star in an action dramedy on a network (ABC), which is yet to premiere.
danai g from the walking dead or ol girl from the affair
ReplyDeleteGrace Park of A Million Little Things on ABC? One of the “major” characters is not returning for Season 2 and she is the rumored actress. I wish she would return to Hawaii 5’0, always loved her on that.
ReplyDeleteRuth Wilson, from The Affair!! Now what's the real reason?!
ReplyDeleteThe constant filming of really ugly sex scenes?
ReplyDeleteThe Affair beat up the Alison character with every repulsive sexual situation it could muster. Also, Alison claimed somewhere that an executive harassed her. I found the link here but didn't save it, dammit!
Yeah, I'm gonna pat myself on the back for calling The Affair an awful show after 4 episodes while it took everyone around me 2 1/2 seasons to see it.
The Affair is a cable show. This says hit network show. So, one on the main four, NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox.
ReplyDeleteOmg I'm always frustrated with people who get excited about a guess and miss important details like that! Thanks for pointing it out!
Delete+1 for Connie Britton although she's supposed to be one of the nicest people around so the NDA doesn't make a lot of sense for her.
ReplyDeleteHalston Sage cannot be a real person’s actual name. I refuse to believe a parent could have given their child such a terribly stupid name.
ReplyDeleteAstra-- agreed that that name sounds like an 80s soap opera character whose introduction would be met by nearly audible audience eye rolling.
ReplyDeleteAmy and Sandy-- Connie Britton is interesting subject...I have also heard she's beloved and well-respected, however, did you watch the first season of 911? I think they botched the character...caregiver of mom with Alzheimer's, 911 operator who decides she needs a life, so starts dating the firehouse's resident 25 year old sex addict. Somehow, imo, all of it came off dopey and half-assed. Then, curiously, her character was missing from the first half of second season (i think word was "scheduling conflicts"), dont know if she'll be back after mid season hiatus. The character went on some sort of soul search after the moms death. I think the writer's went back to drawing board.
It was just announced in one of the entertainment mags that Danai is leaving Walking Dead in S10.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Sophia Bush? I know it's been awhile, but I know she mentioned something once about there being drama with her leaving Chicago P.D., wasn't there?
ReplyDeleteAgreed it can't be Walking Dead, AMC is cable not network. It's something on CBS, NBC, ABC, or Fox.
ReplyDeleteThe Connie Britton and Halston Sage guesses are good too
Not Connie Britton- her original contract was only for 1 year. She didn't want to tie herself down for more than that.
ReplyDeleteThanks, JS!
ReplyDeletePauley Perrette from CBS' NCIS
ReplyDelete+1 @kbeveryday
ReplyDeletewhat about that girl from Shameless- emmy rossum?
