Blind Item #8

Because of her fame, this foreign born A++ list mostly movie actress in her own country who is probably A-/B+ list here only had to serve a jail sentence for her crime. The two lovers who paid her millions of dollars and aided her in her scheme were both executed.

  3. Fan Bingbing. Is Li Chen one of the person executed? I hope not! But he was her fiance not lover, so unlikely.

  6. Fan Bing Bing sounds like the ricochet of one of the shots that missed the accomplice at the execution.

Oh come on, stop yer frowning, if my name was Gervais you'd all think I was fashionably edgy.

  7. She did disappear for a while. Long enough that US press had headlines wondering if something bad happened to her.

    I appreciated it. Very funny.

    What did she do?

  9. No other country has the Innocent until proven guilty like the good ole USA.

We might complain about the slow due process, but most of the time it's to make sure justice is done.

  10. It's of countries have it, Dave. Jesus, in the UK you're innocent even when proven guilty, if our pathetic sentencing is anything to go by.

  11. Hey Brayson, you are 100% right when you say don't mess with them. I wonder if they still do what they did in the good old days. They'd carry out the execution with a shot to the back of the condemned person's head and then send his/her family a bill for the cost of the bullet.

Definitely not a fan and we should not take our eyes off them for a second. Gotta wonder what's really going on with their mission to the far side of the moon where we can't keep an eye on 'em.

  12. @Huckleberry,

She had two contracts drawn up for her projects, one to show the tax authorities and then the real one. At least that's the commonly accepted story, but who knows? Maybe they all do that and it's common knowledge to the party and she pissed them off in some other way.

  13. If a high-profile person in China goes down for corruption, it's because they (or their supporters) lost a factional rivalry.
