Omg lol. My sister went to Johns Hopkins and I used to go down there (many moons ago). Was tricky then,now -really bad. Just met a nurse here who left there 10 years ago and never looked back because things had gotten so bad. As for KS I think he was in the nice part-I’m not sure but sounds like it is maybe The Eastern Shore Astra...
Yes it’s gotten really really bad. I am always surprised when I hear about anyone going there now, for any reason. I sure as hell wouldn’t! Scary. My last experience was maybe 15 years ago and I saw so many rats and broke my favorite shoes so 👎🏻
She and hubby go a lot (once a month ?) for Alumni stuff -they are on the BOD’s or something- she never complains but I’m sure they are in the sweet spots while there. Man there was a place called-The Grenn Turtke in Nell’s Lansing I think- funnn(I was 17 -everyplace seemed so lol)
Annapolis is ok. It’s not on the Eastern Shore but it’s close. Maybe that’s why it’s ok. But it also has the Naval Academy so it would make sense for him to be there. Lots of squids to prey on 🦑
Bethesda, Chevy chase and Annapolis are great places to live and have the best schools in the country. Way different from Baltimore, where the cashier at Target had a 187 tattoo on his head.
I lived in Annapolis in my early 20's and it was a f*cking blast. My uncle currently lives there, well heeled man, loves the lifestyle down there. It is a really beautiful town with great restaurants, boats and bars and nice people.
As your resident Marylander (born and raised, though I’ve lived in South Carolina and Australia before coming back) I take offense to these hateful Maryland comments :). Baltimore isn’t a great city, but it’s not as dangerous as it’s being made out to be. Annapolis is beautiful and a great place to live, and Chevy chase and Bethesda are, as mentioned previously, some of the nicest areas in the country. Sorry, I have a lot of Maryland pride lol!
