Blind Item #10

This B list dual threat actress might actually be a better writer/director than actress. She has a big movie being released which is going to bomb. It might be the reason she was drowning her sorrows in coke and booze at premiere after party this week.

  1. Don't happy people use coke and booze at premiere parties too? It's not like she was chugging prozac or trying to shock her head with lamp wiring.

  2. Diana directed Berlin I Love You opening next week.

  3. Really? That's cool. I like to see young women getting the opportunity to direct.

So what if they have a few clunkers before they have a hit. Young male directors do that all the time.

  4. Weird movie, thought, now that I read about it.

It's a movie about Berlin starring Keira Knightly, Helen Mirren, Luke Wilson, and Micky Rourke, plus Diana.

The only German in a major role is Toni Garnn, the model.

  5. Toni Garnn pulled that Leo DiCaprio connection, I see.

  6. @nutty

yea, except a guy can make bomb after bomb and still get directing gigs.

a woman makes one bomb...and they use that as good enough reason to never give her the reins again.

I thought this was greta gerwig bc we know from a previous blind that movie is gonna bomb, and emma stone dropped out realizing it was a horrible script and was gonna bomb, which emma watson taking her place.

  9. I don't think it's Agron. Berlin, I love you is a bunch of snippets and has 11 directors telling 11 stories

  10. JFC Brayson and Astra! I have to clean my iPad twice in one post. I have to stop sipping while reading.

  11. @Weekitty, The worst is laughing or sneezing with soda in the car, that clean up is never ending lol.

  12. Not Agron, the movie never had a premiere party, in fact I don't think they're even promoting it

  13. I dont know which it is, but, honestly, can we have a year without the upteenth remake of such and such or the exciting new reboot of blah?

TCM is proof that most of the originals hold up just fine, and it would force studios/filmakers to think outside the box for a while.

  14. Elizabeth banks?

  15. Berlin i Love You deserves my respect because it gives Mickey Rourke a chance to appear in a film that actually sees the light of day in an actual cinema

  16. Enty predicting well ahead of time that a movie is going to bomb is practically a good luck charm.

  17. Sounds like an artsy, indie movie with around a dozen directors doing snippets. Hardly something to be carried by a single person. The last Agron movie trailer i saw was some horrendous andy garcia DVD tax write off.

  18. I couldn't even finish the trailer.
