Today's Blind Items - Pack Up

Lost in all the Golden Globes hoopla was a hidden announcement of sorts. Over the past 12-18 months, a government has grown tired of all the missing persons reports that all seem to involve this actor's charity. Either a person goes to work for it and is never seen again or someone visits from the charity or they get services from it and then they disappear. Every person? No, of course not, but several dozen at least over that time period. It is the one commonality of the missing people. So, the government has formally asked this group to begin withdrawing and will just allow them to leave a skeleton staff in place. As soon as the government asked, no one went missing any longer. Interesting. So, where does the charity now go? They are moving to extreme low income places here in the US with high populations of recently landed immigrants which can easily go missing and no one would ever think of reporting it. With the transformation of the charity and its name came a big need for massive donations. One of the biggest donors is this A- list singer who two years ago basically traded for an underage teen who lived with him for a year before he tired of her. That singer got her from the directionally challenged rapper who, although an expert on this type of situation does not appear to be involved in the charity at all.

Sean Penn just had a fundraiser in Haiti for his CORE charity, it could be him.

  4. I think I'd rather burn my money than donate it to a charity these days. At least I know my money won't be doing anyone any harm.

Of course in reality I'll spend it on drink instead.

Cat Stevens performed, maybe he's the A- list singer? Obviously French Montana for the rapper.

  6. Chris Brown for the singer?? Agree with sean Penn and his charity that is undergoing “rebranding”. Jamie Foxx hosted but it would say dual threat.

  7. Wyclef Jean performed at a event this weekend in S Florida, for something called the IRIE Foundation.

  8. and Wyclef and Sean Penn had a project going together at one time in Haiti, yes?

  9. I was wondering when the Sean Penn,Haiti charity blind would show.

  10. Irie is an island term for “in harmony with life/content”...
It’s based in South Florida and is centered on youth awareness but I don’t think it has a connection to Oenn or Haiti

  11. Wyclef Jean comes to mind. His charity had some scandal when Haiti had that devastating earthquake years ago.

I noticed that Sean Penn's most recent charity concert was for Haiti and a few other impoverished countries...instead of just Haiti. Maybe they got wise to him. Penn and the Clinton Foundation have done nothing but evil in Haiti. Those people are disposable objects to those monsters.

    Monsters just about covers it.

  18. Wait, have Penn or Wyclef's charities ever served people individually? Do ordinary people simply show up to the charity office and get something?

Also, both have their offices in the USA, I think, so what extremely low income places here are they now services (and in what way?)

    1. Yes they do -- in that, for example, the charity in Haiti has all sorts of on-the-ground programs working directly with families displaced by the earthquake, including programs providing all sorts of health services to the people in the displaced camps/communities. A group like that could easily just set up camps and services like that in sanctuary cities, for example.

  19. just throwing out there: JayZ and Beyonce's surrogate service/charity?

  20. Okay, so Penn's charity in Haiti goes to the camps and delivers needed medical supplies. Have I got that right? So then how do people disappear under those conditions? The BI says dozens have gone missing who worked or were served by the charity. Maybe they have, I don't know. But I'd like to know how this is accomplished because unless it's a war zone people don't often just disappear and no one knows where they are.

  21. I'm not sure on this one. Would the Haitian government even notice or care if poor people went missing? Haven't various groups been harvesting that nation for a while now?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Donate to local charities only. Bring food to the food bank and clothing, household items to local school thrift stores. NO National or international charities, no one knows for sure where the money goes or how it is used.

    ReplyDelete
  23. If that is true, Brayson, their families and friends would notice. Why wouldn't that create a tide of rumors and horrible ill will with the charity if people were going there and disappearing? I think anywhere with the poverty levels of Haiti would have a riot on their hands, and all kinds or rumors abounding, if people just disappeared. The camps or the impoverished neighborhoods would explode.

There actually exist some great national charities. The Shriners and St Judes are a fantastic partnership that does something wonderful for children. Planned Parenthood is also excellent.

Rule of thumb though is avoid anything with "Awareness" in it's mission statement. Pure boondoggle those. Also, over 50% of cancer charities are money grabs only. Thinking of sponsoring a child? Be VERY careful with those. Animal charities, unless there is a big national push for legislation, donate to your local rescues instead.

Sean Penns charity is now CORE (community organized relief effort) which an article on deadline says it was formerly known as the J/P Haitian Relief Organization (j/p HRO). It said the event they did shows the new rebranding by showing a film by Don Hardy showing it expanding the mission to saving lives and strengthening communities affected by crisis. They honored Anderson Cooper there. Apparently, he has “helped” in Peurto RICO, North Carolina, and Florida. Their financials page gives me an error, funny that.

  27. What does the charity do with the immigrants?
    Confusing

  28. @LucidDreams - it steals their children and has sex with them and then disappears them if they get too sad ugly or annoying.

  29. First thing came to mind was the woman with the agency in Southwest. She might have celebrity donors?

Wouldn't the Haitian blood be blood of malnourished children with parasites and disease? Maybe that's why the old elitists always morph into monsters. They are using the blood of these poor sick children.

Word on the street is that some Haitians have a very desirable blood type that is favored by some.

  34. Sean Penn needs to be whacked. Effing awful excuse for a human being. Human trafficking, child sex trafficking- he's up to his eyeballs in all of it. I hope to all that is holy that Trump gets that wall built. It's not about keeping the illegals out. It's about slowing the flow of human trafficking. Say what you want about Trump. The 75K sealed indictments tell me he is cleaning our filthy house.

  35. There are no birth certificates in Haiti so if a child goes missing you have to prove they existed. Much easier for powerful people to exploit and less paper trail.

    ReplyDelete
  36. So you think Haitian families would allow their children to disappear without a squeak?

    ReplyDelete

    1. The earthquake left thousands of orphans, poverty makes people do things they wouldn't normally do. Like if these wonderful charity workers promise a better life for the children. It happens everywhere, Just easier in Haiti.

  37. The BI is about a current situation, not a disaster, not a war zone. Currently, the children of Haiti are not wandering around with families recently buried under concrete.

    ReplyDelete

  38. @plot - What does "allowing" have to do with it?

    ReplyDelete
  39. You mean families in Haiti just let their kids go with anyone who will take their hand? I doubt it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @Plot
    You should read Dickens more.
What did you expect them to do after an earthquake with 8 mouths to feed. Hell, sone of the kids were probably orphans in the care of their uncles.
Even low-rent trolls like yourself should get some bits and pieces of real life education.

    ReplyDelete
  41. How many years has it been since the earthquake? You expect the chaos to continue? why? Cuz Haiti is mostly Afro Caribbean?

Okay, since you claim to know your real life so well, how many orphans are left in Haiti since the earthquake? How many are under the care of the state as opposed to religious organizations or charities? How many go missing? How many died during the earthquake? How many children cannot be accounted for at all?

Come on non-troll who knows everything about reality, out with it.

    1. @plot, give it a rest. Haiti was before the earthquakethe poorest country in the hemisphere, still is. A quick Google search will tell you it had not recovered from the earthquake. Charity organizations, some help, some, like what we discussed, take advantage of a bad situation. Numbers and whether or not they are orphans are irelevant. Only the promise of a better life. And being difficult to trace.

Google "shithole" up. That's Haiti. For a paid shill, you don't know your stuff.

Okay, so kids are disappearing because Haiti is awful. Again, you don't think anyone would complain or report this or want to talk about their kids disappearing because...Haiti is HELL. Now, let's point out how similar that is to the oft used complaint about other countries, that they "do not respect human life!" as a sort of catch all and reason to ignore everything happening there. It's kinda sorta racist, too, since statements like that are never leveled against Western nations, which certainly have shown their fair share of "not caring for human life" on a grand (albeit mechanized) scale.

The claim is that some Haitian charity is rounding up scores (hundreds?) of children and disappearing them (through what contrivance is anyone's guess, since showing up with kids who don't speak your language at immigration is quite the red flag. My friend had a rough time with her adopted son from Uganda. Is that another shithole country that doesn't care about their kids? Just asking.)

What I can see happening in countries like Bangladesh and Haiti is a kind of private, secretive, pipeline that creates slaves. We see it in Dubai, the KSA, UAE, where slaves are created using local Bangladeshi Judas Goats who promise their own children are wealthy now! They speak to them all the time on the phone! Sign up for Saudi Arabia! And off they go to a better life...of torture and deprivation.

But still, their parents complain that their child is GONE, no word, phonecalls or letters! Indian Muslim parents and families complain! Malaysian families complain! Filipino families bitch! Their stories are many on BBC International and Reuters. Many families have been silenced with a pay out from the Princes of Dubai and KSA, but the stories of these families are told at large.

So, these blinds about those Haitians who send their kids off with a kiss, to be abused, killed, whatever...where are the fucking complaints???? This is supposed to be happening, according to these blinds, on a massive scale. Then where are the people who know these kids? They simply...forget they existed?

    I'm not buying it.

  45. Yes, Western run but still talking Haitian children, right?

So where are the people complaining that their children, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, disappeared after coming in contact with that charity?

What, Haitians don't kick up a fuss when their kids go missing? That is what you are implying. Why? Because, ya'know, duh, Haiti! Bad place! People don't care! Is that it?
