Don't believe the hype. This B+/B list actress who is most well known for some movies she has made in the past and not her failed tv appearances will be walking for quite some time. She has a disease, but she likes to make it much more dramatic than it really is.
Selma Blair

Selma Blair
Oh FFS, you're running this again? MS is no joke, there's a lot more to it than just walking.
ReplyDeletei saw another article about her yesterday on USA Today.com or CNN.com
ReplyDeletei always liked her.
He's answering the blind we all already knew the answer to - that's why it's here again.
ReplyDeleteAnd he's still an asshole for saying it to begin with. Selma has been pretty brave in publicly dealing with her disease, and to label her as being "dramatic" in the face of a life-threatening, progressive illness says a LOT about Enty and how he feels about Blair. It also says he'll easily go low to slap someone when they're down.
Enty claims to be her friend. Some friend, but we've seen him turn on people, mostly females, before.
ReplyDeleteHe puts plenty of blinds on the shelf and never reveals them. I would have thought after the response last time that it would be the wiser play.
ReplyDeleteBlinds like these (& outing people’s sex shop purchases, etc.) give me icky Perez Hilton vibes.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised if Enty was an escaped rogue AI from a dyslexic s&m named software company ;)
ReplyDeleteBecause MS is so trivial.
ReplyDeleteFuck you, enty.
He isn't mocking MS. He said in an earlier blind...she doesn't have MS...it is complications from long term drug use.
ReplyDeleteIt's ok to be morbidly obese -Enty- but not ok if you get some piddly little disease like MS. Got it.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I come back here.
And yes Baby, he was mocking MS.
ReplyDeleteNo he is mocking HER for saying she has it.
ReplyDeleteHe isn't mocking it in this blind, if his point is that she doesn't have it. He's mocking her.
ReplyDeleteHe never said she doesn't have it. He says right here "she has a disease". If (as Baby and Unknown are saying) she's lying about MS then that's a MUCH bigger story.
ReplyDeleteIf Enty is falsely accusing her of lying about it, that's a bigger deal too. But neither of those things are what's on here. Pay attention, FFS.

ReplyDeleteThey found the f*cking lesions on her brain on an MRI test, and who knows what other tests might have also confirmed it. Give it a rest.
I've known people with MS who would have sawed off their own legs if it meant all the neurological symptoms went away too.
ReplyDeleteMS is the worst ever and my heart goes out to anyone living with it. I took care of a family member with it til they died, and MS can be a slow progression, or lightning fast, and affects different people in different ways. It’s awful in every way. I pray for a cure.
ReplyDelete"has a disease" not "has the disease".
ReplyDeleteShow me where Enty says Selma Blair is faking having MS, or doesn't have it.
ReplyDeleteI'll wait.
Put up or STFU.
Enty hints more strongly about faking a disease,Yolana and Lyme disease or Selena and lupus. Enty turning on a female friend again?
ReplyDelete@Tierney
ReplyDeleteEnty has claimed Selma was unstable, a drug addict, a heavy drinker, too crazy to work...all manner of things while she was very sick with MS.
Now, to justify his past treatment of Selma, he is claiming MS ain't so bad. MS IS very bad and effects different people at different rates and in different ways.
Enty has been angry with Selma for a long time, can't seem to say enough bad about her.
In this instance, Fuck Enty. He took particular glee in writing BIs to torment Selma for his personal fucked up reasons.
Just like any other bad thing, you can both be afflicted and leverage it for headlines etc. Plenty of people like myself have MS and remain high functioning to the point no one would know. And in my case, most people don't.
ReplyDeleteIf I could get headlines, press, promotion or some other benefit out of putting my RX out there... I am sure I would more.

ReplyDeleteyeah i'm gonna need you to back that bullshit train up. MS is not a joke and there is no way to predict how fast it progresses or what parts of your body is demolishes randomly.
ReplyDelete@Plot, yes I've seen the posts where Enty goes after Selma, alleges drugs, etc. I still haven't seen him say, AFTER her published diagnosis, that she *doesn't* have MS. That's what I'm waiting for from 'Unknown'. That's what s/he is saying, and I'm calling bullshit on it. Either way, it doesn't lessen that Enty is being a heartless dick.
ReplyDeleteAnd 'using her diagnosis for headlines' gets Selma less than nothing. It confirms an illness that will cost her jobs, her health, her life.... and *might* get a little sympathy. How shameful of her [/sarc]. She's not putting up GFMs or launching telethons, so if you begrudge her the freedom to tell her story, then don't read or watch... and go fuck yourselves.
This is just cruel. I doubt Enty has seen her medical records or attended hospital appointments with Selma so he should really stop with these snidey, bitchy insinuations.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she has the disease of alcoholism
ReplyDeleteAhh not again.
ReplyDeleteI have MS & it varies from one day to the next. Today it's 42C so I had a lot of trouble getting around & I'm mostly focussing on not pooping myself. I'm really struggling to coordinate, everything is hard, my limbs are like logs.
Yesterday I was up walking the dog, doing the dishes & putting away laundry. So yeah it's dependent on the day, heat, sleep, meds, food intake, etc.
I listened to a podcast with Enty and apparently a lot of celebs are faking illnesses to hide their problems with addiction. Wouldn't be the craziest theory I've ever heard.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your condition, NMAtty, and hope that tomorrow you will be strong again. It's a terrible disease that seems to have a mind of it's own. My neighbor, at my last place, had it and seemed great most the time, held onto a job, worked hard to have one of the nicest yards in our hood. Then she would disappear, for weeks sometimes, and be living with her parents. I was one of the few people to know she had MS and figured she was having some very bad days when she went home.
ReplyDeleteHugs and keep strong!
FFS you have your good days and your bad days with that disease. Why pick on her??
ReplyDeleteI just left a reply but I don't see it 5 minutes later.I just want to add that it's only my opinion. If she were to speak without an impedement some of the time, then we're speech impaired at other times, then that would confirm my suspicion because inimy experience, speechsimpairement totthat defgree, causedcby neurological diseasedis veryvconsistant. It diesntdojust comecand gogon "good" daysdand "badb days.
ReplyDeleteI deleted my reply trying to x out the click ad pop up,so I can see what I'm typing.Trying again.
ReplyDeleteSomeone commented, that she would gain nothing by faking her disease/symptoms.
I don't doubt that she received an MS diagnosis, but I believe she's faking her speech impairement because it's not consistent and doesn't have the same characteristics as the patients I took care of, who were speech'impaired due to neurological diseases. Also myself, and friends/acquaintances have the diagnosis, but we don't have speech impediment, and the neurolgically diseased people who have speech impairments due to their neuro disease, developed the shaky speech over time,years...
She has already gained:
There are dozens ofoonline articles featuring her story aboutMS.
SheShas donedtv interviews.
She is launching a new "disabled friendly" clothing line.
It greatly benefits her to exaggerate or fake symptoms related to her MS diagnosis.Otherwise,MS in early and intermediate stages, the symptoms arent obvious to people interacting with the person who has MS.so exaggerating or faking symptoms would help bring more intrigue to the story.
IfIf y just sit there and announce that you have MS,without having something for the audience to observe;they will go "ok,MS doesn't seem that bad".
