I think he's the father of one of her kids. He's the double of him.
ReplyDeleteWhat support and employment is this reporter speaking of?
ReplyDeleteAfter Louis' latest Parkland "jokes", only 4chan could love him. Bet everyone, even those who tried to love him after the revelations, is GONE.
She hasn't said shit about him the last couple of days though.
ReplyDeleteHe probably gave her a break, and advice when she was starting out and feels like she owes him.
ReplyDeleteAmy has a type when it comes to men, and Louis is not it, so don't believe they ever hooked up or he's her baby daddy.
Actually, plot, I see a lot of people online agreeing with CK about the Parkland kids.
ReplyDeleteEven on nonpolitical boards like TMZ.
Comments saying “I never liked him before, but I like him now,” with lots of upvotes.
Those are gunslingers Nutty and probably the same 5 folks
DeleteNope. I have seen mass support all over the web for CK, all across different ages/politics. I think the people outraged are more the active, vocal minority on social media.
DeleteThe whole thing confuses me, tbh.
People are offended about his workshopping of jokes leaking, that he may or may not have planned on taking to a big stage, but his raping babies jokes on SNL a few yrs back and his radio gigs where he called ppl ni&&ers like a million times, back in the Sirrus radio days were deemed ok? Seems like peak hypocrisy, to me.
WHY was that other stuff ok?
Because it was. He got top gigs and acting jobs out the wazoo after doing some of his raunchiest material.
@AndiF, whats her type?
ReplyDeleteYou could say she 'knoped' outta there.
ReplyDeleteCome on, that one's better than anything the ginger wanker has done lately.

ReplyDeleteTMZ is as likely to be flooded by 4chan as any other website. In fact, for page views, TMZ is probably courting 4chan just like certain other websites are prone to doing - Ahem!
Thought so. My comments get deleted for saying the Biebers are high and then others use the n word or that mexicans should be shot. Its really awful
DeleteHe's back the way he used to be when he would be on the Ooie and Anthony show.
ReplyDeleteBefore he became mainstream. He said some really disgusting things then too.
Paid for bots (4chan, Reddit, TMZ, Twitter, Daily Mail) don't equal sold tickets or merchandise.
ReplyDeleteI work in marketing, we don't look at Twitter or commnets or SM comments bc celebs or other groups buy positive responses.
It’s not just TMZ. I’ve seen support for CK on a variety of websites. You don’t have to be a gun nut to find the Parkland kids fatuous.
ReplyDeleteEnty has even had reveals on this site about certain celebs buying bots to flood SM & comment sections of sites.
ReplyDeleteSure, Andi, I agree with you about that, and I think it is particularly pronounced in the DM. (The Meghan Markle stories are the most obvious examples). But I still get the impression that a fair number of people agree with CK about the Parkland kids.
ReplyDeleteI find Louis C.K. to be both brilliant and hilarious. Every single time he opens his mouth? Nope. But often enough that I will listen to what he has to say, and I can usually find something in it to like. If that makes me an unwoke troglodyte, I can honestly live with that.
ReplyDeleteSorry those kids are the face of our future and its awesome! RISE REVOLT AND PROTEST! AS SAID BY MY nazi killing Professor at SDSU! RIP dear sir!
ReplyDeleteCK hasnt changed his act, it's just people changed what they'll accept about his act.
ReplyDeleteC.K.'s leaked set was funny, except to the permanently offended who think that the majority is with them on all the popular leftist social causes but guess what? They're not. Their response? Insist that any opposition is either cornfed hicks or bots. Political correctness and the leftist thought police can go straight to hell and they will. They will go kicking and screaming but thank god they will still have their utopian belief system and victimhood to keep them warm. Funny how the left turns on ANYONE who dares breathe a word against their political fantasies. So intolerant of ideas because they are basically intolerant narrow minded people.
ReplyDeleteAnd then we make jokes about Orange Idiot, you get your panties in a bunch @black and Tan. Assassination of HS kids is nothing to laugh about but making fun of inbred looking Killer is.
ReplyDeleteDisagree. I listened to the whole thing. Politics and wisdom of attacking teenagers aside, it wasn't that funny. And I think he's been hilarious in the past.
ReplyDeleteThe material from C.K. was just weak and hackneyed, not particularly offensive, compared to some of his previous stuff, which was shocking and effective. Sure, there are people who play the indignation card on Twitter, because you can't be on Twitter and not play the indignation card, but the real issue is that it was lazy. "Kids these days, they don't act like me..." Of course they don't, because there's a 30-year difference, dumbass.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's ZERO evidence that Poehler worked with C.K. outside of his six episodes on Parks and Recreation, mostly in the second season if I remember well. The show had 125 episodes. She hasn't supported him, she never appeared on any of the show he was involved with, he hasn't been connected to any show produced by Poehler. They do share a manager, and that may be why she won't comment on him.
This blind is most likely supplied by the same person who obviously hates Poehler and tries to involve her in every scandal.
She was in his first experimental movie in the late 90's they're both from Boston. And she spoke lovingly about him in Mark Marion's podcast.
DeleteThey've been friends for years.
The Marc Maron podcast is from 2011. At the time, "Louie" was in the middle of its second season and everybody in the comedy world who hadn't heard about the masturbation stories would praise C.K. as a genius.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see a mere hint that Poehler has shown "continued support" towards C.K. since 2017. And if she employed him under the table, it's weird that the reporter who was ready to confront her hasn't come up since with a story about Louis C.K. still finding work in the industry.
@blackandtan
ReplyDeleteWhy don't ya just call yourself a Brown Shirt and be done with it? Based on your screed there, humor seems well outside your wheelhouse but grabbing anything, for political points, is.
Again, no one is providing examples backing up Poehler's continued support or employment of Mr Székely.
ReplyDeleteSo what does that make this blind? Another bullshit opportunity to slam a woman while ignoring the real transgressor?
BOOM, there it is. Blackandtan’s point proven. Bwahahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteNo not really ...i really think gunning kids down is s a fucking joke
ReplyDeleteDont think
ReplyDelete@SD I love your no BS attitude. Preach girl!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Hayley! Some topics really hit a nerve and i will defend victims forever! Have a great year!
ReplyDeleteLCK used to be funny but like many aging male creatives he calcified. it's sad. he wasn't able to keep up the fake-woke schtick that carried him for awhile, so now he does the most predictable right-wing pivot imaginable.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that you all can’t see the parkland kids are fucking shills is beyond me. Not a conspiracy, follow David’s multiple time line of events that day... the worlds a stage my lovies
ReplyDeleteNRA: This time survivors are too old and articulate to be called crisis actors, what shall we call them?
ReplyDeleteButina: My handlers say call them "shills."
NRA: "Shills!" It's GENIUS! I'm sure glad our side has no tools or dupes.
Butina: Yes. Your side has no tools, or dupes. Here is your monthly suitcase of money from Moscow.
NRA: Thank you.
@Taylor
ReplyDelete"LCK used to be funny but like many aging male creatives he calcified"
Yes, exactly, sometime after S2 of his show it started happening and I quit watching. It wasn't obnoxiously right wing, like he is now, but becoming waaaay too self absorbed and believing his own hype. Happens to the best comics and mostly they fade away to sit on their money with occasional guest roles.
@Toni
"follow David’s multiple time"
No you, since supporting the killing of children is more your thing.
I wouldn't call C.K. right-wing. He just tries to say shocking things about a tragedy like he's always done. Remember his stuff about 9/11 (which has taken a new meaning now we all know about his sexual habits): “You can tell how bad a person you are by how long after 9/11 you waited to masturbate. For me, it was between the first and second tower falling down.”
ReplyDeleteIt was disgusting, but you knew it was over the top and ridiculous. His new material tries to provocative and shocking, but it's mostly formless. It's now the expression of a middle-aged guy who is out of touch with current issues and tries to be edgy about them.
But it's funny to find out how many people here now regard Louis as a victim and his current routine as cutting edge and anti-PC. They'd gladly shake hands with him, unless you remind them that he most likely jerked off with the same hand something like five minutes ago.
Considering he was a vocal Hillary/Obama supporter and wrote an open letter calling Trump a Nazi, it's a pretty obvious thing to not call him right wing, and to do otherwise is 17 layers of retarded.
DeleteBut, that's social media and click bait journalism for ya.
The dumber the better.
I think CK is going for the money. When he was "woke" and earned our laughs with scathing self reflexion, he stayed that way. Now he feels abandoned and condemned by his fans who loved his old persona. He has to make money somehow and knows, absolutely KNOWS, that the incels and 4channers will flock to his shows if he is outright abusive and filled with rage against everyone. Small Asian dicks??? Yeah, he knows who will eat that up. CK is about money.
ReplyDeleteI know you dont understand 4chan if that's the impression you have. Maybe spend some time reading their threads on CK. They filleted him a new one, in a far superior way to the NPC Twitter hive.
DeleteAlso, incels? Jesus. Stop reading clickbait sites, you sound like a robot spewing talking points. "Orange man bad." "4chan incels." Herp derp. Bleep bloop.
F@ToniK, Right on!
ReplyDeleteObvious shills when you look at the evidence.
If people would just look at the actual evidence of these things instead of being spoon-fed their opinions by the mainstream media
Token Martinez= right wing shill
Delete"Obvious shills when you look at the evidence."
ReplyDeleteSo 17 kids weren't killed at Parkland, it was all shills bitching about nothin'.
I liked Andy Richter's twitter thread on Louis CK's set.
ReplyDeleteSeeing as Andy Richter was a friend and coworker of CK's, his condemnation must sting all the more. Go Andy!
ReplyDelete@Zeroh
Sure you have, baby, sure you have. You've researched EVERYTHING but can provide no backup.
I’ve never found LCK to be that funny. I love watching stand-up, and I can appreciate that he has his moments, but I usually only find about 5% of his act funny. I also can’t stand how he uses profanity as filler...I have zero issues with profanity, but he says it EVERY. OTHER. WORD. You’re paying to see 60 minutes of comedy, and 30 minutes of that is him saying “fuckin’ fuck”. The only thing I’ve ever liked was his bit on Pig Newtons, and that wasn’t even really that funny, just memorable.
