A network and a streaming operation were the biggest spenders last night. Usually, they only spend enough to get the nomination, but they both wanted wins as well. A studio thought they didn't spend enough, but apparently they did. This is the only place you can buy what you want. You can also f**k some people to get what you want, but that never works past the nominations. Oh, and next time, when you decide one of the winners, maybe you can avoid suspicion by not also inviting someone to come as a presenter too.
Bezos for streaming spender.
ReplyDeleteRami for winner/presenter
ReplyDeleteTbh I was wondering HOW the fuck he won smdh
ReplyDeletePersonally, i dont think streaming stuff should be up for these awards. Since they are, some moneyed jerkoff should shoot a nonsense documentary and buy his way to a golden globe. Then he should submit to the Academy Awards his documentary about buying a Golden Globe. Post both on Pornhub, so they will qualify.
ReplyDeletePatricia Arquette won by the hands of her director
ReplyDeleteI think that for every decade she ages, Arquette gets another cup size. Them juggs was squished up into her shoulders last night. Pop the bra off and they prolly drop nipples to her ankles.
DeleteRami was great in The Shape of Water, all those underwater scenes.
ReplyDeleteI'm confused. The only presenter who won an award last night was Olivia Colman. Rami Malek did not present.
ReplyDeleteOh, but DUH. In her speech Olivia Colman made a big deal about flying private and being treated VIP by the HFPA -- because they named her the winner and wanted to make sure that she'd be there.
ReplyDeleteWho fcked who and got what?
ReplyDeleteAlso Gaga was a presenter and won best original song
ReplyDeleteSandra Oh got an award but sure is talented.
ReplyDeleteSomeone bought Chuck Lorre and Michael Douglas presents.
ReplyDeleteColman deserved to win but could see Netflix splashing out to hype her up before she debuts in the Crown.
ReplyDeleteI see Count is back! Missed you!! xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteHasn't that always been what The Golden Globes do? I thought it was fairly common knowledge that these were not real awards. For some reason the last few years they have started receiving coverage on par with the Oscars and Emmys. It used to be just a drunken party for Hollywood types.

ReplyDeleteLast night I watched a couple of great films from the late 1970s.
it was heartbreaking.
We have nothing close to those films anymore . Feel good, fun films, where you actually care about the characters upon the screen.
Goldie Hawn,Richard Dreyfuss,
Marsha Mason ...God how I miss you.

ReplyDeleteAmazon & Fox
ReplyDeleteAmazon w/Bezos invited
ReplyDeleteFox ‘thought they didn’t pay enough but apparently they did’
bc Rami and Bohemian Rhapsody won
Seriously not one blind about Gaylor Swift and her beard?
ReplyDeleteTaylor looked pissed when Gaga won best song.
ReplyDeleteYeah most of the movies from the 70's were complete garbage. I think I'd rather put a cigarette out on my hand than have to watch any more of them.
ReplyDelete@Brayson87 excuse me? Have you actually watched any movie from the 70's?
ReplyDeleteIt's one of the best decades for movies.

ReplyDeleteA network [FOX] and a streaming operation [NETFLIX] were the biggest spenders last night. Usually, they only spend enough to get the nomination, but they both wanted wins as well [AMERICAN CRIME STORY/THE KOMINSKY METHOD]. A studio [20TH CENTURY FOX] thought they didn't spend enough, but apparently they did [RAMI MALEK/BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY WINS]. This is the only place you can buy what you want. You can also f**k some people to get what you want, but that never works past the nominations.
ReplyDeletethe only part I dont know is this:
"Oh, and next time, when you decide one of the winners, maybe you can avoid suspicion by not also inviting someone to come as a presenter too."
both Bezos of Amazon and Ted Sarandos of Netflix were there, but neither presented.
netflix, ref Michael Douglas and Chuck Lorre. Catherine Zeta Jones presented.
ReplyDeletesorry I love Michael Douglas to death but the Kominsky Method is not well written and quite boring. I watched 2 episodes just because it was Michael Douglas and the show is barely tolerable. Plus in real life Chuck Lorre is a soft spoken, closeted narcissist and someone must've bought and paid for both awards that show won. Love Amy Adams to death but "Sharp Objects" was not nearly as good as the producers were making it out to be. The best show I've seen this year that featured a movie actress in a television series was "Homecoming" with Julia Roberts but I think some people in the industry dislike her. I her rumors she was standoff-ish not really nice, etc. but that show didn't get nearly as much press as it should've compared to SHARP OBJECTS and in my opinion HOMECOMING was better written and told a concise, comprehensive story.
ReplyDeleteSandra Oh both won and presented.
ReplyDeleteSo was that Chuck Lorre standing on stage saying "NetflixNetflixNetflix"? He looked half-cut.
ReplyDelete@Aquagirl are you retarded? she clearly looked happy. there is no reason for her to be pissed lmao pathetic
ReplyDelete@Thonker: please do not insult me. No, I am not ‘retarded’, and BTW, you should remove that word from your vocabulary, because it’s not appropriate under any circumstances. Nor am I ‘pathetic.’
DeleteYou may not agree, and you may ‘lyao’ but I saw the look on Taylor’s face when GaGa won, and she was definitely pissed, not happy.
Yeah. These were just all awful, Brayson! What?
