Blind Item #8
For the past year I have been telling you this celebrity offspring of a permanent A++ list singer needed rehab. She finally went. Apparently a family member walked in on a suicide attempt which was the final straw.

Paris Jackson
ReplyDeleteParis J.
ReplyDeleteYeah its in the DM today
ReplyDeleteoh i was going to say that i hope it isn't Paris Jackson. :(
ReplyDeletesooo sad.
Didn't MJ have three +'s usually? Oh ell. Enty ratings so nitpicking is useless. Yeah. It's probably Paris.
ReplyDeleteNo way, Chris Hansen from To Catch A Predator was arrested in CT!
ReplyDeleteHe's been writing rubber checks.
He wrote one bad check and then never made good on the debt. It's bad, but not walking into a stranger's house with a six pack and condoms bad.
ReplyDeleteWHAT? Chris Hansen??
ReplyDeletelol you're on fire today, Brayson.
Thanks raven :) His show was a classic. I remember the first time I saw it, channel surfing in a hotel room with a girlfriend. We were both like, WTF is this? lol
ReplyDeleteParis Jackson I hope she get the help she needs..
ReplyDeleteShe will definitely need to stay away from drugs and people who do them.
The temptation to use in Hollyweird is very high

ReplyDeleteWhoever this offspring is, prayers for his/her recovery and a lifetime of sobriety.
ReplyDeleteI hope she accepts help and goes into recovery. Poor kid.
ReplyDeleteI’ve always had a soft spot for her, I have no idea why- she doesn’t DO anything for me to like her or not like her. Same with MJ’s other kids- I want them to turn out okay so badly.
ReplyDeleteDrug addiction.Trauma. PTSD.
Rehab is not a BandAid.
+1 Unknown, substance abuse rehab is not a cure, it's a stabilization unit. People don't walk in, attend a bunch of groups and are like, oh yeah drugs are bad won't do that anymore. It keeps them clean for a period of time while teaching them recovery strategies and techniques. The relapse rate afterwards is abysmal, but relapse is also a part of recovery.
ReplyDeleteI hope her family rallies around her. She’ll need support and structure.
ReplyDelete@heatherbee
ReplyDeleteThe Jacksons? Support and structure?
Dream on.
I cannot imagine the things that poor girl has seen nor the crimes that have been committed against her. When she is old and no longer cares her tell-all book will be jaw-dropping.

ReplyDeleteSadly, of the two examples in my life, both people I loved....entering a rehab facility produced typically poor results.
For most people, Rehab only delays the inevitable.
Rehab doesn't work, period. Theres no way to stop an addiction unless the addict really wants to stop and has enormous will power and is willing and able to change his lifestyle, including friends, lovers, job, city, etc. It also takes lots of smarts.
ReplyDeleteParis Jackson on "rehab rumor"
ReplyDeletehttps://www.cnn.com/2019/01/17/entertainment/paris-jackson-treatment/index.html
a treatment facility will work if it's longer than 28 days. my son, a 15 year crystal meth addict finally is in recovery after being in a program for a year. he's been out about 4 months and is still seeking therapy and groups to get the support he needs. all this a "few months" celebrity rehab won't work because you need much more time, learning, self discovery than 90 days.
I thought Michael was permanent +++ ? If there wasn't a + left out on mistake then it isn't Paris.
ReplyDeleteMiley's sister, noah???
