Blind Item #2
There is one studio which hired the disgraced A-list Director back in October. The film has not begun shooting yet. Before yesterday’s big expose, my source said that the aging studio head and a VP were pushing for the disgraced A-list Director. The son of the studio head was still fighting to ditch the director. Apparently the son still has morals.
After the expose, the source said about the disgraced A list director’s involvement: “Huge chance it doesn’t happen.”

Singer
ReplyDeleteAnd Warner or Universal
DeleteRed Sonja for the movie. Stupid
ReplyDeleteThinking may be Ron Meyer/Universal
ReplyDeleteMillennium Films is supposed to produce it. The head is Avi Lerner who has been sued for sexual harassment. Also supposedly bullied Terry Crews. Perfect match for Singer.
ReplyDeleteWhy do they keep remaking crappy movies?
ReplyDeleteI thought Meyer was one of the few studio heads that actually had some integrity.
ReplyDeleteScathach gives her power. She can only lay with a man if defeated in combat. Red Sonja is her Arena name. She's called Sonjita. Shit. I just needed out.
ReplyDeletes/needed/nerded
DeleteMaybe the son has no morals but has business sense, after all it is Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteoh, my god, couldn't the Son of the studio head " separate the art from the artist"?
ReplyDeleteI believe John is correct.
ReplyDeleteSo has anyone read the expose? Is Notthisagain going to stop screaming about it not being released?
ReplyDelete@hunter,some here thought it didn't even exist, or had no substance. I think everyone here who cares read it.
ReplyDeleteToday's not a blind blind.
ReplyDeleteThe Atlantic article is pretty compelling. The optics of being in business with Singer now are extremely negative.
I imagine that that article has also torpedoed any chances that Bohemian Rhapsody might have for an Oscar in anything but secondary categories. Who wants to celebrate a film that was "80%" directed by a child molestor?
The Atlantic article is at least as well argued and sourced as the stuff that fueled the #metoo movement...The only difference is that the men making the accusations aren't famous actresses. But to my mind, child abuse is worse than forcing adult women to pay to play.
>But to my mind, child abuse is worse than forcing adult women to pay to play.
ReplyDeleteThe child abuse was forced.
The adult women were not forced.
The political, economic, and social systems (patriarchy) are created by those in power, notably aging white men, who then continue to create increasingly corrupt and claustrophobic places for women. They take advantage of their power to satisfy their own desires. Yet, yeah, it's the woman's fault. Yep.
DeleteSo why don't u go toss off, malaka, and stop hating women.
DeleteI loved this DM headline:
ReplyDelete“Hollywood hypocrites: Bryan Singer will still get $10million to direct next film despite growing rape claims - as X-Men stars stay silent, Rami Malek dodges comment and the director calls expose 'homophobic'”
morning y'all!!
ReplyDeleteyep, tricia called it. wonder what nonsense singer and his legal team will come up with as a defense. may he get exactly what's justly coming to him...oh ya, and all his creepy ass cho mo buddies. may they suffer hard for the harm they've caused.
to everyone on cdan, have a great dsy!
they just announced that Singer is STILL directing the Red Sonja film despite the recent expose

a little good bit of news:

GLAAD awards has kicked out Bohemian Rhapsody from its Best Original Film nom and it wont compete due to the new accusations.
@hunter, with notthisagain it was about throwing shade on esquire while reminding people the article existed.
ReplyDeleteThis whole time Singer was out there saying Esquire didn't publish because they didn't get their facts right. No, one of his butt buddy protectors got Hearst executives to walk down to Esquire and kill the story. Now we know Esquire is just a bunch of wimps while Hearst are the ones that are complicit.
+1 notthis, good for GLAAD.
ReplyDeleteSo tired of pedophiles trying to pose as homosexuals or heterosexuals, they are neither. They prey on children. Do we decide that people into bestiality are gay or straight based on the genders of the chickens they f*ck? Nope. Pedos aren't a part of any movement, any peoples, all they care about is feeding on children's innocence.
+1000 Brayson
ReplyDeleteUPDATE: Great BI, Enty! https://www.cbr.com/bryan-singer-sexual-assault-allegations-red-sonja-director/

ReplyDeleteThey do know that keeping him is box office poison, right?
It could also be a career killer for anyone who signs up to act on it.
@Brayson
ReplyDelete+1 MILLION
@todd
did you see the statement the millennium head put out? it was sick, saying that Singer 'who made the hit bohemian rhapsody make over $800 million at the box office' , so 'clearly' he deserves the job and everything else is 'fake news' (classic)
$$$$ & blackmail
disgraced A-list Director = Bryan Singer
ReplyDeletefilm has not begun shooting yet = Red Sonja
yesterday’s big expose = Bryan Singer
No shock Avi backed him. When you're that deep with the CF/CGI you've got some dirt. Podesta is still walking free... right? If they thought for one second that Singer was going down -> Arkancide
ReplyDeleteI hope the ghost of Brad Renfro, poor soul, comes back to get his justice on that sick son of a bitch, and Singer not only never works again, but rots from his insides out.
ReplyDeleteJust my 2 cents.
Seems like everything is about Singer. GOOD. Hope that pedo burns.
ReplyDeleteAnyone remember An Open Secret from 3 years ago. Hope all these pedos crash and burn finally

Singer sadly isn't yet a non-person. What does "disgraced" here even mean?"Not overtly feted, lionized"?
ReplyDeleteDo we really need blinds for Singer now?
