Blind Item #14

Even though everyone knows this foreign born B+ list dual threat actress who has starred on multiple shows from the same streaming service is gay, she is not allowed to come out. Her fans in her home country where she is A++ list like to pretend she isn't gay and would turn against her if she went public with her sexuality.

Basically, Hearst executives killed the story.

  5. If it's Gillian, wouldn't her home country be Canada? She was born in the UK but grew up in Canada and is known as a Canadian actress.

Gillian was born in the USA and grew up in UK and the US. I think she has dual citizenship.

  7. I don't think British ppl are against LGBT as Americans

  8. Maria Pedraza stars in "La casa de papel" and "Elite" on Netflix.

    1. Spain is even more open about LGBT than the UK. It is almost considered a gift for the arts. Many write intheir Cvs to increase chances of jobs -otherwise is hard to fins a job anyways

  9. Doona Bae is the Korean woman in Sense8 and Kingdom on Netflix. I'm thinking this is her.

    1. It could be her, koreans are still very sensitive about sexuality

  10. Bae Do-na might be gay but SK fans are not going to turn on her. Moreover, I don't know if she's really A++ there.

    1. She’s a great guess. Definitely A++ in her country.

    2. Swedes would probably not have a problem with a celebrity being gay. I think this is somewhere a little more conservative

      Delete
    3. Hmm, Swedes can be quite bigoted actually. It's still a traditional culture.

I could also see Noomi Rapace being the answer. I can't believe that Enty wouldn't mention her being in a famous franchise, though.

    4. Please. I’m Swedish and NO ONE here would care if she was gay. To the contrary; she would most likely be celebrated. But she has kids and dated a few fellas here so I don’t think it’s her.

I've been to Sweden a bunch of times, my favorite country. Back this

  12. Would UK fans really care if she´s gay? I don´t think so. She isn´t A++ there either.

    Must be someone else.

  13. Meanwhile, Atlantic magazine has exposed Bryan Singer.

I guess the money wasn't big enough to silence this magazine about Singer's (alleged) gay teen rape-a-thin for almost 20 years.

Good for them! They're not fucking pussies like some OTHER magazines who sold out...

    Enjoy! 😉😉😉

  14. British people don’t give a crap if some is gay, we think it’s cruel and absurd that so many actors feel forced to pretend they’re straight.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Maria Pedraza - Interesting theory but Spain is even more accepting of LGBT than US/UK.

Gillian Anderson - She's already out as bi and as stated above, US & UK don't care. Plus she's probably not considered A++ in the UK (plus she's a dual citizen so she doesn't really apply)

Noomi Rapace - Gaydar doesn't ping for her. She was married for a long while and has a child (Doesn't guarantee anything but still). Plus would Swede's give a shit?

Doona Bae - This is a great guess. SK is still hung up on LGBT actresses.

  17. Someone from Eastern Europe or Asia? I can't see that many people in Western Europe, UK, or North America caring if an actor is gay.

  18. I could see this being someone from a Latin country or Italy.

  19. @Todd, I wonder if the Hearst Executives protected Singer because they were paid off for the Bohemian Rhapsody movie or because they're in the business of protecting pedophiles? Like can't let the wives suspect what really happens on company trips.

    1. Hearst Publisher is a member of the board at Lincoln Center. Long time Singer protector David Geffen just donated 100 million to Lincoln. Id say that was the pay off.

    2. Saw a comment in Dm suggesting a competitor against Bohemian Rhapsody may have exposed Singer! Excellent theory Brayson! Hope they all go straight to hell.

... Let's take bets on who goes 1st to the (non-existent) "Preditory Pedophile Jailhouse" for those that are actually prosecuted (before they're long dead)...

      A) Hollywood A+.. Lister?
      B) Political A+.. Lister?
      C) Religious A+.. Lister?
      or ....
      C) Non of the above! Cuz they still got $$$?

  21. Yeah Gillian Anderson makes no sense. She'd be A here for TV but A++ in what, the UK? Canada? I think she is fairly across the board consistently famous in these countries. Also she has been open about being BI so it has to be a country where being gay would REALLY hurt her rep... maybe a traditional macho or Catholic home country?

    ReplyDelete
  22. "Allowed?" Is this a grown up person?
She can come out as gay or not as she chooses. It's her choice. With this level of fame she probably doesn't need to worry about the folks back home because she could continue to work regardless.

  25. It's really awful that in 2019 people still can't come out.

  26. Gillian Anderson hasn't been A-list here since the 1990s.

  28. What's with the comments here saying "it can't be her, she has a kid and has dated men"
... It happens.. All the time. 90% of the lesbians I know have dated men. At least half of them have kids.

  29. Not Noomi or Gillian. Gillian Anderson has already been public about her sexuality and if everyone knows Rapace is gay then it's weird I've never heard anything about it after following her career a bit. She's the liberal kid of liberal parents in a liberal country, working in a liberal industry. Hardly seems the recipe to feel the need to hide sexuality. Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino etc much more likely.

  31. Doona Bae...being gay is still a big no no in Korea

  33. Noomi has not been on "multiple shows" as far as I know, but you're right, in Sweden it wouldn't be a huge issue.
