These two winners last night were definitely united in the sense they wanted one or the other to win on Oscar night and not this singer/actress who "hasn't put in her dues."
I havent seen Star is Born yet but I think Gaga is an outstanding talent with an amazing voice. Not paid her dues?? Like J-law who somehow became an overnight sensation?? She aint THAT talented to get all the acclaim she received after her first famous trip.
Gaga still overshadowed them, she was the most talked about and won original song. I really don't like these snobbish attitudes actors have against singers who also act.
I'm not saying that Gaga deserves the win for Best Actress, as I haven't seen some of the other films where there is a nominee for Best Actress. HOWEVER-- I don't get the hate. She was very good in that film. Bradley Cooper was better, but she held her own with him. Shit, she held her own with Sam Elliott, which was more impressive.
Lady GAG is a repulsuve celebrity. She uses people, lies, cheats, and does everything in her power to be the center of attention, at all times, no matter what is going on.

I don't want Gaga to win Best Actress only because I don't think playing a struggling musician is much of a stretch for her. She WAS a struggling musician at one point. She is a very talented woman, but give the Oscar to women who had to play a part, please.
The one thing that struck me that I’m so sick of, is this “aww shucks” garbage she’s peddling like Bradley Cooper plucked her out of a cornfield somewhere and gave her a chance. From the ridiculous line she spouted in every interview- kudos to mocking her for it-, to the wide eyed presentation where she looked to Cooper for permission to read aloud the winner’s name. Gone is the meat wearing Gaga who wanted her monsters to be strong and empowered and now we are met with a weaker, eye batting Gaga who apparently is living her best life right now as a 1940’s ingenue.
Awwwww shucks, R Kelly is a bad guy? I had no idea! I am very sensitive the suffering I should've known! She's lying ugly trash (even with thousands of dollars of plastic surgery) inside and out. Seriously how does one remain THAT fug even with tons of surgery and make up? The only thing she should've won last night was RuPaul's drag race.

They come on TV for free or there is jackleg copies floating around, never been that desperate either.. Eventually they come on TV I’m not putting a penny in their pockets, get your money from someone else. Take fake as Gaga with you.
Speaking of Gaga, isn't it funny how she had a lot to say about sexual assault last year but wasn't willing to say anything about R. Kelly. She worked with him i know, but she could have admitted it was a mistake and she was wrong and commented on it but instead she stayed silent. I guess she doesn't care about victims of sexual assault if they're Black girls.
So glenn was polite to a reality celebrity and later this?? PLEEASE stop with bullshit. She's too classy for this. Gaga in the other hand..she was soo over the top and fake last night
Germanotta (ok, make baby noises... call her "Ga Ga") is another nauseating, desperate narcissist, all about publicity stunts. Carried to the Grammys in a 'giant egg' ...wearing horns.....it's all so desperate, sad and sick.
I agree with HeatherBee. I watched as Ben Mulroney blew sunshine up Bradley's and (particularly) Gaga's asses. She nattered on about how wonderful Bradley is, she always wanted to become an actress, and this movie changed her LIFE (complete with tears). And rather look at her with a knowing I-know-you're-playing-the-game smirk, Bradley ate it up.
Not only is Gaga annoying, she looked like shit last night. What was with that Marge Simpson updo? She fug as hell and a blathering suck ass. She should stick to pop music. I'm also wondering about that fiance of hers...pedo vibe big time off that guy. Glad she lost, glad Brad lost, glad their dumb movie lost.
Lady Gaga in A Star is Born is like Beyonce in Dreamgirls. I don't believe you're a great actress if you're a singer playing a singer. It's just you in wardrobe and wigs. I don't necessarily believe she needs to "pay her dues" but I'm glad Glen Close won. I've seen most of the nominated movies and Gaga in ASIB was not the best performance.

I was surprised at how good Gaga was... but that movie sucks. It sucked in 1937, 1954, 1976 and 2018.
