This permanent A list everything in her mind never has carbs or sugar. She just wanted to get some attention for it because she is going to be selling a diet and workout program.
Ugh so tired of people being so precious over food. If you have an allergy then ok, but I don’t care to hear about your gluten free low carb vegan flexitarian what the fuck ever eating regimen you’re following. It’s so boring and God forbid people just eat when they’re hungry, eat a sensible amount of real food, and get on with your life! 🙄
But J Lo is extremely annoying without pushing some asinine diet, I can’t imagine how much worse she’ll be with this. GO AWAY J LO. Does she even have fans? What has she done in the last 10 years?
I feel the same way. I have no issue with veganism in itself (I’ve had some pretty fucking finger-licking delicious vegan food cooked with Asian spices in Bali myself).
But the actual human beings I’ve met who practice veganism are some of the most precious, insufferable, narcissistic people I have ever met.
I’m talking about people who will get feedback for their acting and blame their castmates for their bad performances (literally).
They just LOVE being fussed over their dietary needs.
They LOVE having people ask about their lifestyles which gives them an opportunity to talk about themselves (that would’ve driven me NUTS) and be the centre of attention.
They LOVE being fussy with their orders to the waiters AND IT’S NOT LIKE THEY TIP EXTRA (if you’re allergic or religious, it’s fine—but these people put wait staff and cooks through hell). They just relish the attention.
...And then there’s the sanctimonious finger-wagging nobody asked for or needs in their lives.
And those are just the non-famous ones I know.
The only vegan celebrity whose motives I don’t question is Pamela Anderson (I think she just relates better to animals because te humans/men in her life treated her badly). I have a soft spot for her.
And then there’s the vegans who force PETS to go vegan (despite cats needing certain nutrients only available in meat to maintain eyesight). And it’s never about the animals, it’s always about them. There was a post on Quora I read where someone dissected a statement by a vegan who’d been feeding their pets vegan food and basically all their statements revolved around “me, me, me” and never about the animals’ welfare/health/wellbeing!
@Yep: I never eat sugar. It’s not as if I’m depriving myself, I just don’t care. I was out with a friend last night eating oysters, and I decided my new motto is ‘Oysters are my Chocolate Cake.’
I never got what the big deal is about JLo. She can't act or sing and her best days as a dancer are behind her, no pun intended. In other words, a multi-no-talented individual.
But she has mastered arrogance and egomania. I know someone who worked at NYC radio station and JLo was coming in to hump her latest autotune assault on the ears. The word came down from her people that no one was allowed to speak to her or even look her directly in the eyes.
When her last movie came out in December, NY Observer film critic Rex Reed headlined his review, "J-Lo and a Bunch of Talentless Meatheads Just Made the Stupidest Film of the Year."
How she continues to get paid is one of the mysteries of the universe.
Hahahaha that’s the best title for a review! Is it for that stupid movie with the other worst person ever, Leah Remini? I HAAAAAATE HER! I appreciate her speaking out against Scientology but she is just the most unlikable person ever. I saw a commercial for it and wondered who was the target audience. Was it made to torture prisoners of war? Ugh!
No carbs and no sugar is no way to live. Take it from me, I have to follow a strict diet and it fucking sucks, and I'm still sick. If you have a choice I say eat that stuff like the world's about to end. I sure miss cookies
Same here. My mom told me eat to live, not live to eat, and never ever made food a reward. So I can take it or leave it, mostly. But I do empathize with people that have food addictions/issues. Gotta be awful to HAVE to have your addiction, to live. And for it to be everywhere all the time and easy to get, etc.
Diet advice from celebs is always suspect. They’ve got the time and money that most people don’t have and they can cheat with plastic. But I love Leah remini!
She has had A LOT of work done! She definitely takes care of herself, but she has had Lipo on her core section and a lower facelift. Not that plastic surgery is bad...takes one to know one. Look at photos of her 10 years ago. Her stomach and face. And she has constant subtle fillers/laser work done by her dermatologist. Good for her- but own it. This false idea that if you drink a lot of water, work out, and will look like her at 50 is total BS.
I have heard the insufferable rumors, and then her long time friends paint another picture. I can then suscribe to a professional control freak, who has a loyal human side to those she let's in. Complicated human. Except for the hideous amount of makeup the HD camera picked up, which showed some deep pores, the last tv show was well written. I enjoyed it
Yeah I mean when you don't have to worry about what you eat, you don't think about food, it's really easy. Ironically, or perhaps appropriately, it's when you have to worry about your diet that you become obsessed with food which usually backfires. And so goes the obesity epidemic, or something like that...
You get out what you put in. No sugar and no starchy carbs is the real deal. Added sugar (soda, cakes, cookies, candy, etc.) ages you. After a little while of cutting it out, most people don't miss it. I do like my fruit though but in small amounts. Of course JLo has had some subtle work done over the years but every little bit counts and she looks really good. Diet/exercise/water/fillers/surgery. Extra effort equals great results.
If she eats fruit , she has had carbs. Your body has to have them. Every body has to have them. Admittedly there are some that are better for you than most but she eats them.
Also if you are diabetic stay the check away from gluten free diet. Look at the carbs in that shit. It's really really sad that f2f took off and it's a pain in the mass to find sugar free and diabetic friendly food options. I am the wife of a diabetic and it pisses me off that gf is hailed as this miracle and it's not.
My dad was a doctor and said that so much is determined by genetics. I'm sure J-Lo has had a little Botox here and there, but for the most part, I think her looks are the result of good genes plus diet and exercise.
Also, my boyfriend is a dentist with patients in the entertainment industry and one told him that JLo is an absolute monster to work with.
J lo

ReplyDeleteNever has carbs or sugar? Damn! That is some dedication!
ReplyDeleteSo what is she, a cannibal or a vampire?
ReplyDeleteJLo

Sorry for the longass rant!
*the
DeleteAgreed with your long ass rant 100% lol 👌🏻
DeleteLol when I saw that I thought the same thing.... does she ever eat carbs? Girl doesn't even drink. smh
ReplyDeleteUhmm... Isn't Alcohol mostly carbs and sugars?
ReplyDeleteI believe this one. JLo has maintained a perfect face and physique. When I cut carbs and sugar (strictly) I get super lean and chiseled.
ReplyDelete@Yep: I never eat sugar. It’s not as if I’m depriving myself, I just don’t care. I was out with a friend last night eating oysters, and I decided my new motto is ‘Oysters are my Chocolate Cake.’
ReplyDeleteYou must be an Aquarius. Oysters are the most delicious things ever!
DeleteI am!
DeleteI FREAKING KNEW IT! Hahaha! The best zodiac sign (of course I am one as well)! Happy imminent birthday fellow Aquarius ♒️
DeleteHappy Birthday to you, Astra! 🥂👑⭐️🌸
DeleteWishing us both a great year!
❤️🙏🏻🤞🏻🎂
DeleteWho is more annoying at this point, J Lo or Alex?
ReplyDeleteWho the heck cares what Jennifer Lopez eats?
ReplyDeleteI agree, astra worthington...diets are boring, boring, boring and so is J.Lo.
That Lo person.
ReplyDeleteShe gas consumed gallons od splooge

DeleteOh and I’d stare that bitch down if I ever saw her. Who the fuck does she think she is?
Delete@Groggy, She hitched her wagon to Selena's (the good one) fame.
ReplyDeleteOf course she has a perfect diet. There's no way you look how she looks at her age without it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. But damn, there’s days where a girl just needs to knock back a pizza and bottle of Diet Coke.
DeleteI think she’s become ..... a robot.
Who cares about anyone else's diet? Make the changes for yourself, nobody else wants to hear about them.
ReplyDeleteI guess its the price of fame and fortune, but what a way to live
ReplyDeleteNo carbs and no sugar is no way to live. Take it from me, I have to follow a strict diet and it fucking sucks, and I'm still sick. If you have a choice I say eat that stuff like the world's about to end. I sure miss cookies
ReplyDeleteAmen, sister!! But, I’m sorry you are sick. 😞
DeleteHonestly I only think about food when I'm hungry, it really doesn't hold much fascination for me.
ReplyDeleteSame here. My mom told me eat to live, not live to eat, and never ever made food a reward. So I can take it or leave it, mostly. ReplyDeleteBut I love Leah remini!
I feel like a dick; I've been living on fried chicken and marshmallows and still fit in my size 27 jeans.
ReplyDeleteSometimes genes are just lucky and I think JLo has a set too. All the maintenance just keeps it on point.
Sugar makes me sleepy but i slip and go crazy over chocolate once in a while.
ReplyDeleteShe has had A LOT of work done! She definitely takes care of herself, but she has had Lipo on her core section and a lower facelift.

She looks AMAZING for 49. I could totally follow that keto diet... but never without my wine :)

ReplyDeleteBlue, I agree. She takes excellent care of herself, but she has been getting work done subtly for 20 years now. Her doctor is fantastic.
