Blind Items Revealed #5

So, our favorite former A list dual threat actress we all want to see succeed had a reading in front of a casting director just to see if she would be good for a part on an episode of a very established hit television show. Apparently she was not even close to the same actress she was before. It wasn't good.

Amanda Bynes
In a way good because the last thing she should be doing is returning to her old public life. Time to move on from all that and start over with something new.
ReplyDeleteShe could open a flower shop or something.
DeleteShe's a fashion student. She should pursue that. If acting is really her thing, there is nothing wrong with taking lessons or getting a coach. Much more seasoned actors than her often do that.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I hope she doesn’t miss the spotlight.
DeleteShe could always rat out those f*cking scumbags that ruined her life.
ReplyDeleteOr grab some certification classes at the local college, you know whatever.
Continue with the fashion courses, add in some acting classes and think bout doing some indie work. Embrace being an artist vs an actress.
ReplyDeleteLike she was some great actress in the past. Come on!
ReplyDeleteFlowershop and write a book with all the juicy bits.
ReplyDeleteAnything but acting. Why go back to the scene of the crime?
ReplyDeleteSad but not surprising. It's a bit depressing knowing that she has absolutely nobody stepping in and redirecting her away from that life again.
ReplyDeleteActually.. she was a good actor. A natural performer, with comic timing from a young age.
ReplyDeleteIt takes the brain years to recover from a breakdown (for whatever reason) and if she's managing an illness through medication, she's living a new normal. You can't expect someone who has been through what Amanda did to just bounce back to their former self.
Even a person who's been out of the workforce for a few years, parenting or whatever, can suck in an interview and it takes the brain a while to get going again. I'd imagine diving back into auditioning and acting is not that different.
