With every hot topic, she is putting herself at the forefront and in the front row. She probably experienced some exploitation/inappropriate things as a child actress, but I suspect that most of what she says is selfserving, exaggerated, or created to put herself on the current bandwagon. And she undermines her own credibility.

That said, she is so...off putting...in her insistence at showing up at every Me Tooish event and making it about her, pushing her face and narrative forward to make the movement serve her brand, specifically.
