LR is a lousy husband and Dad. But nice to the general public. It could be nice concerned overly involved dad who hates strangers. Sophia's mom is the primary parent and it spears that their son has issues too.
Yea, didn't Lionel treat Brenda Richie horribly? To the point where Brenda ended up getting arrested for assaulting the woman Lionel was cheating on her with?
and if I remember correctly, Nicole isn't his and Brenda's biological - I believe she was the daughter of Sheila E's brother, and Lionel and Brenda adopted her.

Parents are often heartbroken about the things that are happening in our adult children's lives. Most of us did our best to raise the kids that we love. Life is unpredictable. Bad things can happen.
