Blind Item #5

One of the reasons given for this drop off a cliff season performance by this former A list NBA player who a team has certainly being counting on is the medication he is taking for his mental health. It does not seem to be working with what he needs to do athletically.

  4. I don’t know that the Rockets are depending on Melo, lol. Maybe Gordon Hayward? Blind implies there are other reasons & he is coming off an injury.

    1. Hayward makes sense for this blind. I wish enty was more specific as to what the team is counting on the person for though. Counting on said individual in general is much different than counting on them in order to compete for a championship. Celtics don’t count on Hayward per se but they would need him to be playing at a high level to be competitive in the finals.

  5. Klay Thompson is in a slump too but don’t think the Warriors are depending on him.

  7. Poor dude. Maybe his doc can prescribe him something else that won't interfere with his ability to play ball.

  8. Carmelo isnt even playing anymore he was so useless for Houston and nobody wants him. Draymond has a lot of anger problems and he stinks this year so +1.

  10. very upsetting. i can relate.

its like, why take them and feel like im dead when I can just kill myself and get the same experience?

modern pills for mental illness have a long way to go. so much of them just suck, dont work well enough or make you worse.

sure makes a lot of $$$$$$ for the pharmaceutical industry though....they want us in pain enough to need it, but alive enough to pay for it.

  11. could be chris paul / houston rockets, the "cliff" could be a reference to his state farm commercials

  13. Any team depending on Anthony or Rose is crazy. Neither have ever done anything other than cause problems.

  14. Eh, f*ck it, give him a dual diagnosis with ADHD, pump him up with Adderall, it's what they do in baseball.

  17. I feel sorry for whomever this is. I had to read the blind twice because there is an NFL player who said he is choosing to focus on his mental health. I think I read it in Sports Illustrated but I am not sure.

  19. Hayward is coming back from a serious leh injury that happened 5 minutes into his first game as a Celtic last year. This shouldn't be him, anything he gives them this year is a bonus.

Josh Gordon likely using the mental health thing as a cover for failing yet another drug test.

    This fits Draymond.

And the Warriors are certainly counting on Klay!

Hope everyone that needs help gets help.
