It's true we can't save those who don't care to save themselves.
ReplyDeleteLook at Miley Cyrus. She definitely went through a phase but seems relatively stable and self-aware, highly unlikely to derail her entire life in my opinion. Strong family unit even if it's a bit questionable.
Then look at Demi. She's a mess, so is Selena. They HAVE to WANT to save themselves.
The value Demi can add at this point is as a warning to others - just like Mac Miller and the rest.
Sad but true.
Demi one Selena they are all addicts.. I assume they take drugs to numb themselves from all the bad things that has happened to them.

I believe this is Demi, which is really sad. Not sure if you know who Eric Bolling is but he has been doing this thing where they are trying to raise awareness of the dangers of opiates. His son died of an accidental overdose at college, apparently from one pill laced with fentynl. Demi's mom was supposed to be a part of it as well. I know her mom is desperate to save her daughter, but the problem is Demi is an adult.

ReplyDeleteDemi and Selena were both members of the Nickelodeon/Disney children's meat market. It was probably even more horrible than it sounds, and they have my sympathy. Miley appears relatively well adjusted but she's also seems hypersexual. You'd think with a famous father she'd have been protected, but apparently her mother Tish is an awful parent. Team Demi and Team Selena in this corner.
