An Oscar winner/nominee who I recently wrote about who has a fake boyfriend to try and cover for the fact she prefers women is taking a step out of the closet by wanting to take on a project that will see her having sex with several women. It wouldn't shock me that when that move is set to be released that she comes out.

ReplyDeleteBeing Irish, maybe it's not just the potential publicity impact that is affecting this decision. Could be family or social impact back home. (the Catholics and all that.)
Or maybe she's just a private person, throwing up smokescreens to maintain her privacy, since she's been acting for many years since childhood & I'm sure there's a lot of nonsense that goes along with that.
Either way, her work absolutely outshines any personal gossip about her.
I was thinking the same about whether or not she would be judged in Ireland.

I do not think it will hurt Saorise career society does NOT care about lesbianism. Many female celebrities have queer baited for press. She is female and attractive the media and public will support her. lesbians have it easier in Hollywood than gay men.
