Blind Item #2
That streaming service has been taking heat for months about a new series making underage prostitution seem glam and fun. An executive has gone on record calling it “edgy”. Whenever the press asks questions, the streaming service doesn’t even try to defend what they’re doing. They just don’t care.
Netflix's "Baby"
ReplyDeletejust started watching that
ReplyDeleteits set in rome and the age of consent there is young.
ReplyDeleteJESUS. In light of the Epstein/Doucheowitz shit coming out now and SO many other reasons, this should never see the light of day.

ReplyDeletewho cares honestly. the uk had a show nearly 10 years ago called diary of a call girl (what they call an escort in the uk). if anything we're behind on the times.
Bell duJour wasn't underage though :-/
DeleteIt's not even all about the content or the image it portrays. We have seen so many cases of sexual abuse of underage girls and boys by predators who do shows like this for the sole purpose of having a stock of girls and boys to choose from.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the ultra rich Pedos are moving ahead with their agenda.
ReplyDeleteIts not glamorous either.
ReplyDelete+1 Smalls. Why is everyone on this blog always crying about past cases of sexual abuse, (and the ensuing issues with drug abuse, mental health issues, or even death) but apparently think it’s okay to have this type of predatory behavior/series happening now? So in 10 years we can say ‘oh, so and so got so messed up from working on ‘Baby’, how awful.’ C’mon people!
ReplyDeleteA group of girls at my high school would go out and prostitute themselves on the weekend for fun. These pearl clutchers act like if you don't have TV shows about stuff like this, then the practice miraculously disappears.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, they say nothing about the huge number of TV shows with "nice" young girls being all sexy and doing weird stuff with their feet. Those shows are totally cool cause the girls are "good"
If the count was around he'd tell you about all the 'sugardaddy' sites and the vast numbers of teen girls who use them for a quick money fix.
ReplyDeleteYet Michelle O has NO problem cashing their checks I bet
ReplyDeleteArent the actresses in their 20s anyway? There's murder in all of these shows and no one bats an eye.
ReplyDeleteI watched Baby this weekend and I wouldn't say that underage prostitution is portrayed as something positive. Glamorous, maybe... nice parties, cocktails, money and expensive clothing. But the message, I'd say, is: Yeah, clothing, but you can get raped.
ReplyDeleteCmon people, Godfather is considered to be a classic when it was about a family of stone cold killers! The truth is, if there is an audience for it shows will be made. And called classics after a period of time has passed!
ReplyDeleteheyyyyyy Akhaldan, easy easy.
ReplyDeleteDon't you know that you have to ease newbies into conspiracy theories? You can't just walk into our house and start slinging shit like we're all on the same page. You have gone SO FAR DOWN that rabbit hole, you can't just shout from the bottom and expect us to hear you, especially when you call us regressed children.
I hope you are getting enough relaxation time. As for the topic of your post, a friend of mine & I refer to them as the baby-eating Satan worshipers and that should be good for everyone.

I find horseshoe theory more interesting though:

Show the good side of teenage prostitution. Make it look like a great way to make money. Encourage more young girls to go into the business. Only in Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteParents, parent your children.
ReplyDeleteThen, it won't matter what shows Netflix or any other network choose to produce, stream, etc.
I agree with Amazing Quotes.
ReplyDelete“Quoth the raven, ‘holy shit.’l
ReplyDeleteBut they fucking cancel Daredevil & Luke Cage?!?
ReplyDeletePortraying prostitution as glamorous or showing murder, are 2 different things. I have seen hundreds of thrillers, read hundreds of crime novels, yet I have never killed anyone, and am not planning to do so.
ReplyDeleteMaking easy quick money, is different, it has appeal, especially to young dumb minds.
