I have lived at the beach for nigh 40 years. I’m pretty much over it. I want to retire to the Blue Ridge, so snow for me. Plus I really do love the snow. It’s a short season down here.
I live near really great beaches. I never go to the beach. Maybe ski all day and then sleep but traveling in the winter sucks. I think stop being lazy should be my first goal.
Beach! Even better is sleeping at the beach. We were just looking to go back to Jamaica again. Love it there. The locals tell me there's a little old black woman in my soul because I just sit and knit on the beach all day. Plus, my real name is a popular Jamaican name.
Skiing, it been awhile since I been skiing.. I live by the beach and it’s beautiful, but the summer months are crazy Tourist is what makes money for the County
I don't like the beach and have no interest in sking, however sitting by a log fire with a good book, a mug of hot chocolate or spiced wine, looking out the window at the snowing and the shushing would be wonderful. Staying home is not a vacation it's just a longer weekend than usual.
Beach.
ReplyDeleteSince winter here in Maine last 11.5 months I am over it.
ReplyDeleteBeach
ReplyDeleteStay home and sleep in my apartment near the beach because I dont ski or like fucking snow.
ReplyDeleteBeach!
ReplyDeleteI have Apnea, I pray desperately for real sleep every night.
ReplyDeleteJust did a beach vacation in Turks and Caicos. It was fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI go every year to Spain for a beach holiday but i would love to have the time/money for a snowboarding holiday. On my bucket list.
ReplyDeletetheres no place like home.
ReplyDeleteBeach. But if I stay at home would a maid come in and everything gets taken care of while I'm off?. Because then I'd stay at home lol
ReplyDeleteMy son works at Sevens, in Breckenridge, CO, so it would definitely be a ski vacation.
ReplyDeleteNot to ski, but to hang out with my son.
BEACH PLS
ReplyDeleteBeach, beach, beach!! I can sit on the beach and look at the ocean for hours!!! It is my happy place!

ReplyDeleteIdeally I'd choose a cabin in the mountains out west by a clear lake. But if I have to choose between the 2 I'd go beach
ReplyDelete@Megley - Grab your son and keep going down the road to Aspen - it's maybe my favorite place on Earth, you won't regret it!
ReplyDeleteThat being said, still beach for me. I'm about to go shovel my driveway : (
Beach.
ReplyDeleteI live on the beach but am planning a Caribbean vacation for the winter.
ReplyDeleteBeach, it' so much more relaxing!
ReplyDeleteBeach over snow sports.

ReplyDeleteSince the Spouse got me hooked --
ReplyDeleteI'd rather do another cruise vacation.
Did Alaska, did the cruise around the English Islands, and the worst one was Ensenada.
(Don't cruise on the cheap. Go full out as much as you can afford. It's worth it.)
I don't like the beach (I live in the desert where there's plenty of sand); and I hate the cold.)
I'd worry about getting bored on a cruise.
ReplyDeleteSnowboard all season long.
ReplyDeleteBeach....tropical only. I would like to see snow fall and snowshoe.
ReplyDelete1) Sleep in at home
ReplyDelete2) Mountains/woods are my second choice
3) Beach = last choice
Beach all the way. Was just thinking about Jamaica!
ReplyDeleteStay home and sleep 😁

ReplyDeleteBeach. Not a fan of breaking my bones on a ski slope.
ReplyDeleteNone of the above, particularly. I don't ski, I hate the heat and who wants to hang around at home during vacation time?
ReplyDelete(1) Sleep and TV or
ReplyDelete(2) Fancy beach vacation
Sleep, absolutely.
ReplyDeleteSleep!
ReplyDeleteThrow in daily maid and chef service, it's stay home and sleep!
