  8. Beach. But if I stay at home would a maid come in and everything gets taken care of while I'm off?. Because then I'd stay at home lol

  9. My son works at Sevens, in Breckenridge, CO, so it would definitely be a ski vacation.
Not to ski, but to hang out with my son.

  11. I have lived at the beach for nigh 40 years. I’m pretty much over it. I want to retire to the Blue Ridge, so snow for me. Plus I really do love the snow. It’s a short season down here.

  14. Sleeping at the beach is best.

  15. I live near really great beaches. I never go to the beach. Maybe ski all day and then sleep but traveling in the winter sucks. I think stop being lazy should be my first goal.

  16. Ideally I'd choose a cabin in the mountains out west by a clear lake. But if I have to choose between the 2 I'd go beach

  17. @Megley - Grab your son and keep going down the road to Aspen - it's maybe my favorite place on Earth, you won't regret it!

That being said, still beach for me. I'm about to go shovel my driveway : (

  21. Since the Spouse got me hooked --

I'd rather do another cruise vacation.

Did Alaska, did the cruise around the English Islands, and the worst one was Ensenada.

(Don't cruise on the cheap. Go full out as much as you can afford. It's worth it.)

I don't like the beach (I live in the desert where there's plenty of sand); and I hate the cold.)

  22. I'd worry about getting bored on a cruise.

  23. Snowboard all season long.

  24. Beach....tropical only. I would like to see snow fall and snowshoe.

  25. 1) Sleep in at home
    2) Mountains/woods are my second choice
    3) Beach = last choice

  26. Beach all the way. Was just thinking about Jamaica!

  27. Stay home and sleep 😁

  28. Beach! Even better is sleeping at the beach.
We were just looking to go back to Jamaica again. Love it there.
The locals tell me there's a little old black woman in my soul because I just sit and knit on the beach all day.
Plus, my real name is a popular Jamaican name.

  29. Skiing, it been awhile since I been skiing..
I live by the beach and it’s beautiful, but the summer months are crazy
Tourist is what makes money for the County

  31. Beach. Not a fan of breaking my bones on a ski slope.

  32. None of the above, particularly. I don't ski, I hate the heat and who wants to hang around at home during vacation time?

  33. (1) Sleep and TV or
    (2) Fancy beach vacation

  34. Throw in daily maid and chef service, it's stay home and sleep!

  35. I don't like the beach and have no interest in sking, however sitting by a log fire with a good book, a mug of hot chocolate or spiced wine, looking out the window at the snowing and the shushing would be wonderful. Staying home is not a vacation it's just a longer weekend than usual.
