Blind Items Revealed #5 - Anniversary Month

February 27, 2018

This is about a murder. A very high profile Hollywood murder. Even though, the wrong guy has, up to this day, been the wrong guy attached to the killing, he was an awful human being. A rapist, child molester, drug dealer, woman beating a-hole. Still though, a guy got away with the murder and then was murdered himself later in life when he was going to spill the secret in a plea deal.

The murder I'm talking about has been discussed in every possible media format since almost the day it happened up to the present day. From almost the very beginning of the case, the people in charge of running it knew exactly who the killer was. The problem is that one of the investigators was closeted. At that time, there were very very few, if any openly gay detectives and if he came out or word got out he was gay, he would be fired or forced to quit. The problem he faced was he was having a sexual relationship with a male employee of the killer so the killer had a lot of leverage. A lot. The detective's partner was able to be swayed by an employer of one of the deceased. That employer offered him his choice of woman from a group of about 20 women for an entire year and introduced them all to him at a party thrown at the employer's house. Done and done. It was no problem to blame it on a different person because that different person wasn't around to dispute it.

Fast forward a decade or so. Our killer, who had multiple killings in his past, was facing serious jail time. He was also facing financial ruin. He knew if he was going to get out of jail or have a much shorter sentence he was going to have to trade something really good. How about a pair of detectives and the A+ lister who had offered up the woman. Word got to the detectives about it and the next thing you know, some guards at the jail killed the killer and tried to make it look like a suicide. They didn't do a good job, but no one was all that interested in looking too hard at it.

Dorothy Stratten/Wrong Guy - Paul Snider/Killer - Somen Banerjee (founder of Chippendales)/Employer - Hugh Hefner (who offered a choice of women for an entire year)

  1. Watch this movie Star 80

  2. Wow, Somen Banerjee was a proven straight up killer, and his suicide was suspicious, as he was making a plea deal at the time.

  7. We need a very deep dive on Hefner. Some of what you mentioned on your podcast was eye opening. Cant imagine how many stories there are

  8. What exactly did these two detectives do? From the blind they did nothing but ignore the real killer. Hef offered many women over the years to jis buddies. Not sure how this information helped the killer..

  9. I watched Star 80, there is no doubt in my mind that Paul Snider did this. He was a sick mf, and I don't believe this one for a second. That movie is haunting.

  10. There's supposed to be a Chippendales murder movie in the works. Tony Scott was working on it right before he died and no word on this version.

  12. But why did Hef want Dorothy dead? His jealousy?

Sweet Jesus, I hope not every blind today is pedophilia and murder. Could we get some old-fashioned who's-screwing-who?

  13. Banjaree was partner with Paul Snider in the nightclub biz, so the hit was probably on Snider, and Stratten was collateral damage or to make it look like murder/suidcide

Later, He also was on trial for trying to kill the third partner.

There was a documentary on this on Discover ID, it was really good

  14. During the original BI, I went down the rabbit hole. The straight detective, Officer DeAnda, also investigated the murder of Dave Navarro's mother a few years later. Interesting.

If anyone is curious, there is a Hollywood Homicide Uncovered from 2016 where DeAnda talks about Stratten's murder and all the underworld figures connected to Snider.

Not advisable, but looking at the crime scene photo, Snider's suicide wound is weird, not exactly typical.

  15. Dorothy Stratten s cover was the first mag I tried to buy from playboy in the attepmt to draw like Luis Royo or Olivia de Berardinis - First time I ve ever heard of Dotty was that mag in an old mag fair in buenos aires in the late 80s -

I followed her murder for long and with this revelation I just recall how BOBBY ARNSTEIN, HEFFNER S SECRETARY COMMITED "SUICIDE" in 1975... just when she was being pushed to testify againts him in a drug case ...

Rumors always said he had a large video collection to extort important people and it always felt weird Bogdanovich - Stratten s bf- accused him directly for not "protecting her"

What if findind the real killer could reveal Heff s dirty secrets .. so covering it all up about domestic violence could be the perfect alibi so everybody could get away with it

  16. So what the motive for her murder? I assumed it was her jealous husband. I'd love the dirt on Hefner too. What a disgusting city I live in.

  17. Enty needs to do a several part deepest of deep dives on Hugh Hefner.

  18. Hefner was a glorified pimp, plain and simple.
He was in deep with the mafia, especially Vegas.
LAPD was, and may be still, the most corrupt police force in the country, bought and paid for.

  19. Yeah, Hef was a pimp fundamentally.

Alert - just today there is a Page Six article about Hef sinking a casket of sex tapes into the ocean before he died.

    https://www.power106.com/2018/11/23/hugh-hefner-dropped-casket-of-sex-tapes-into-ocean-before-passing/

What else could be in there?

  20. The reason for Hef wanting Dorothy dead is because he wanted her but she was going to marry Bogdonovich.

  21. Something in DM today about Heff dumping videos in the ocan to keep all the dirty little secret secret.

You're right, Hothotheat's typo is apt concerning one of the subject's of the blind.

  24. Hef destroyed zero of his black mail media, and yes, suckers keep sucking every day.
