It is always interesting to watch how people act the first time they try Molly. If you do it in public like this former almost A list mostly movie actress turned television actress turned give me what you can so I can stay in the public eye after my cheating scandal, it was fun. She loved it and was actually smiling which is rare for her these days.

Us New Yorkers ex or otherwise dont smile. Anyway this bitch probably smiles a lot more than she did back then since she got married and knocked up.
ReplyDeleteShe was so over-rated and got so many chances. She should have married well and called it a day long ago.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it grand that Enty follows the popular opinion that the affair was all Stiles fault, Hall is totally innocent.
ReplyDeleteHall was a fucking producer on Dexter, who fucked the help, an employee, for his own gratification which endangered his show and all it's employees (and destroyed his marriage.) Let's not forget.
Stiles have been beat up in the media (and here) for this, while Hall continues having a wonderful career.
Yeah but the context is the timing and personalities involved -- Carpenter had just stood by him when he announced he had cancer and won the Emmy, and then acted like a raving bitch about Stiles to rally as much Hollywood animosity toward her as possible. IIRC, Carpenter proceeded to fuck a married man but keep her own reputation intact.
DeleteOh so that's why they had her on the show. Eh, Dexter was garbage after the first season anyway, typical bs, hire a good writer for the first season then pass it on to schmucks.
ReplyDeleteHall and Stiles screwed around when she was on the show. Her character was supposed to move into the next season, but Hall's wife at the time, who played Deb on the show, threatened the writers, the producers, everyone unless they got rid of Stiles. So Hall's actions not only created mayhem on the set but it screwed the writers as well, many of whom bolted afterwards. Stiles was excellent in the show, as well.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't like S4 of Dexter with John Lithgow? Lithgow outshone, outacted and outclassed Michael Hall by miles and miles. A very worthy Big Bad for that season with great writing.
@plot omg John Lithgow was so great. I loved that season!
ReplyDeleteHall and Carpenter were each married to others when they hooked up. This is Halls MO. And I don't blame the guy, he got a second chance at life, he seized it
ReplyDeleteHey if you're a big Lithgow fan, I get it, he's great, and it's always cool seeing your faves play villains. But there was a purity of vision in the first season, more true to the books, that just got thrown out the window starting in the second season. It just became trash tv, oh look at the gore, look at the funny family interactions.
ReplyDeleteI thought the first four seasons of "Dexter" were all very good. I ejected in the middle of the Stiles season, I just lost interest after that key character died. I did watch the series finale and it was terrible.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked Julia Stiles, though. Adorable.
I'll admit the first season was the best season, Brayson. The atmosphere was present, the menace, the humidity and the ocean air, the flashes of color in the darkness and Michael C. Hall wasn't silly, using his acting tricks like he did more and more with each season. Really, the show handed over the presence of threat and dread to the villains, while Dexter became a family man/superhero of sorts (and lost every sociopathic characteristic pretty quickly.) In that vein, Lithgow knocked it out of the park - very scary character who kept the viewers on pins and needles.
ReplyDeleteI get you.
Julia Stile. The head of a giant tadpole on the body of an eight year old boy.
ReplyDeleteLonely Bastard, haha.
ReplyDeleteJulia Stiles had a disappointingly small role in Silver Linings Playbook. She was absolutely wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove her acting.
I loved Dexter. I literally cried the last episode. It was so good!!!! Dont really care what he did when not acting or whomever he screwed. He is a brilliant actor. He is also great on that Netflix tv series called Safe.
ReplyDeleteAh! the first time i took ecstasy and went clubbing in the early '90's, still ranks as one of the greatest moments of my life oh the sweet memories..magic doesn't even come close.
ReplyDeleteSo I guess Scientologists not doing drugs doesn't apply to Julia...or is she special because she's a celebrity?
ReplyDeleteWell Riven, wherever you are, I hope you are enjoying seeing your "name in lights". Lol, so much crazy then and now.
ReplyDeleteWhy did anyone care so much about Julia Stiles and Michael C. Hall? Celebrities cheat all the time. Why did this hurt her career?
