"Jud Crandall: [narrating] The person you put up there ain't the person that comes back. It may look like that person, but it ain't that person."
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with being, what's wrong with being, what's wrong with being confident?
ReplyDeleteHope she hits her bottom soon and I don't mean the bottom of a grave site.
ReplyDeleteIt is too heart breaking to read about anymore.
ReplyDeleteI have a loved one... so loved, around Lovato's age... She just doesn't get it. Doesn't get it, and won't come back.
Sometimes, it is drugs. Sometimes, actually, it isn't. But people don't always come back. Many things can take a person away. Far away, and we never get them back.
Didn't Enty just reveal that she was waiting for her turn in the 27 club?
ReplyDeleteAnoxic encephalopathy, a loss of oxygen to the brain, it's a bitch and getting very common among the substance abuse crowd. After years of opiod abuse my brother finally achieved a nasty case of this. At first he was completely gone-when he regained speech, it was totally off the wall-complete nonsense and pure fantasy. He also had contact aspiration pneumonia because he couldn't remember how to swallow and so has a feeding tube. Eventually he recovered enough to meet the pathetically low standards of "legally competent" and signed himself out against medical advice. He is clearly "lights are on but nobody's home" but because he answered a few simple questions he's released. The medical facility recorded the question session to cover their liability. He's od'd several times over the years but this time really sealed the deal in regard to his loss of cognitive and behavioral judgement. He's had three involuntary commitments and will never be legally able to own a gun but insists that the sheriff's office will return his guns as soon as the FBI uncovers their corruption. I'm checking into getting my lawyer to release those guns to me (three states away) to make sure he never gets his hands on one again. One psychotic episode pf running around in his tighty whities with a gun threatening to shoot children is one too many in my book. Oh, yeah, the sheriff learned a lesson after the first time and now refused to return the guns and there you have a very big reason why guns are such a problem in this country. Boys want to cover the asses of themselves and other boys and return toys to people who have absolutely no business owning them
